Seth's strategy is to predict players who would normally go to smaller schools and then be ready for the transfer portal in 2 to 3 years. He is getting the jump on signing them before they get a chance to go elsewhere and enter the portal at a later date. And we were worried Seth did not have a plan for the Portal!

Well they are doing something right - kicking our asses in recruiting (both HS players and transfers)

So to recap - We all thought the invite to the AAC would provide a bump. But instead, our HS recruiting seems to have fallen at a time when there should be more HS players available due to transfers taking up slots. We have also not seemed able to step up our transfer portal recruiting. We are hoping that our staff discovered hidden gems and will develop the talent and out "QB coach" will be able to develop the QBs. It could happen.

I believe all P5 programs now honor 4 years and do not "fire" players unless they violate rules.

With NIL maybe they are emerging

Question in case someone knows - We have several players with no rankings. Does 247 go back and add a rating for all players signed?

Constant changing of uniforms and colors. UNT - Mean Green - noting on Jerseys How could anyone be confused?

From 24/7 - The only team we are currently beating for average rating is UTEP

Last year when we had the top class there was a lot of shouting about how great of a job. Now we , at least on paper, have a really bad class and people are saying how we need to hold back the complaints #Hit6(please) #OldDentonLives

I think one thing that makes a little difference in your assumptions is I Believe by next year there will be more than 25 scholarships allowed per year to make up for transfers

There are a lot of shows who views I do not share, but I would not like to see any of them shut down. I am pretty sure not many of us are forced to listen to any particular shows against our will. Seems if were going to embrace the 1st amendment we need to stick up for all sides.
