Kelly green helmets do not look good. Look at every team that wears kelly and they have white helmets. If we are going to wear kelly green then it has to be white. Just look back at old pics from NT and how bad did the old Philadelphia Eagles helmets look with that color green.

I believe the green/white game is scheduled for a Sunday, April 22 and they are planning a big event with tailgating and what we have on a normal game day.

I know they had white helmets at least through '67.

They spent time on LSU and Arkansas because the show airs in all of Louisiana and Arkansas. When I lived outside of New Orleans I could always keep up with Texas sports via FSSW.

This is the same money that was annouced back in November. When annouced it was stated they gave it to the Ath. Dept. Now the Ath Dept is saying it is earmarked for the stadium.

This is great news. I do know that the 1st phase of the stadium will only hold around 30K and the 2nd phase will take it to completion. They can complete 30K by 2009.

I believe that Pegram thinks he is owed something from NT. If he is really serious about coaching or coaching at NT, then he would ask for a GA position. You have to start somewhere? Just because you are a good player does not automatically make you a great coach.

Johnny Quinn and Dylan Lineberry have been select to play in the Intra Juice North South All-Star Classic being played in Houston. The game will be played January 13th and will be televised on ESPN2 @ 11:00am. Quinn will not be able to play, but will be able to attend all the festivities and meet/interview with NFL teams and scouts. Congrats gentlemen!! You have made our university proud!!

Do you guys actually believe that TD would not play the best player?? TD is here for one reason, win FB games. He will do that with the best players at each position. If Riley comes here and wins the QB job he will play, if not he will move him to WR or DB. NT needs great athletes and competitors, and that is what Riley is. Believe it or not Meager might be able to strive in TD's offense. Riley signing will only keep QB's away that believe they do not have the ability to compete for the job, not the chance. GO MEAN GREEN!!

Interlock NT has been around the athletic department since the early 70's, if not before. It was on the lettermen sweaters and jackets. I am not sure which AD took it off of the jackets, but it was after we became UNT. RV brought it back to the letterjackets when he became Athletic Director. I would love to see it on a helmet.

Do not be surprised if the new uniform looks like what SLC currently wears(if he goes to kelly). If we go to Kelly green we will probably wear a white helmet. Marketing firms have done studies and a kelly green helmet does not perform well. SLC uni Pants - white, black Shirts - kelly green, white, black Helmet - White I cannot wait to see what TD strolls out in Norman!! Will he change from New Balance to Under Armour?? Dodge would play the best player. His son could go to WR. From what I have seen Snead at this point is the best, but Riley has two more years to develope.

The reports that I heard for the summer camps that Dodge has held. Jevan particpated in 2 of those camps. Jevan is a superior athlete with incredible arm strength. Remember that he was asked and participated in the EA Sports Elite 11 camp. That is the top 11 QB's in the country going into their SR years. This kid can play.

I went to the Trinity game. It was nearly unbearable. I got to Texas Stadium at 11:00, parked in Red lot and got into the stadium at 1:00pm just before kickoff. We sat in the upper deck. I recommend that everyone get there at LEAST 2 hours before game time. Allen is bringing the entire city. Trinity game, they had 4 gates open. 2 on each side of the stadium. I am not sure if SLC is home or away. Gate 3 is the vistor side of the stadium. I will see everyone there.

Here's the deal. Nickname - Mean Green Mascot - Eagle ex: Alabama Nickname - Crimson Tide Mascot - Elephant Everyone one in the nation knows the Crimson Tide. If they do not know already they will soon recognize the Mean Green name. We will always have the Eagle as our Mascot.
