Having foreign players does not bother me one bit. I want to win at every sport at NT. Look at Baylor men's team. Do they even have an american? They play for the national title every year. Most national golf powers have at least 2 foreign players on their rosters. What ever it takes GET THE JOB DONE!!

If we hire Blake I will never give another dime to NT. He sucked at OU and the players hated him. He is a good asst., but not a HC. PLEASE let this only be rumor.

NT will not build a stadium less than 50K. They might start with 35-40K and have the option to expand. The goal is to have Big 12 and the like to come to Denton. Teams have stated in past negotiations that they need a bigger venue to have a home/home contract. Many would have already signed a home/home if we would play at Texas Stadium, but RV does not want to play in Dallas. I commend RV for trying to get teams to Denton. If we build a winning program we could have 35K minimum every week in Denton.

Just one more game and we are done with DD.

The black jerseys were not approved by the Athletic Dept. DD did that one himself, shows his on lack of class. They were basically black practice jerseys with white numbers. Classless act by DD. The team wore green jerseys during pregame. DD had on tan pants with his green wind shirt. When the team return to the field he and the team wore all black.

WHY???? do you need posters or emails asking the students to come to the damn game? It is your school and football team. You should support them. I do not care what school someone attends. 90% of the students will know that they have a FB team and that they play on a specific Saturday. I am sick and tired of the students needing to be begged to come and support their athletic teams at NT. It is the same with men's and women's BB. Students support your athletic teams.

I believe it will be up to the new HC to determine who stays and who goes. RF will be gone. I think he is the reason DD got fired. If DD would have cut ties with him a couple of years ago, DD would still be our coach. Has anyone brought this up? DD calls the plays for the Green Team and we see more production and more agressive play calling. Why did DD let RF run us into the ground? Sorry for the pun.

If DD is such a great coach? Why after winning 4 straight conference championships are we having 2 of our worst seasons? Most schools of our stature continue to build on this type of success, yet we have gone backwards. Does anyone think DD and his staff got complacent?

I do not believe that one person on this board does not support the players. Most have a problem with the leaders and the plays or system the players are given to execute. As long as a player gives the effort I have no problems.

It does not cost a lot of money to recruit the North Texas area. If he and his staff did a better job of that he would not be in this situation. The facilities and other stuff are MUCH better than when he got here, yet after winning 4 straight conference championships we have had 2 of our worst recruiting years. No big name players, no DISD etc. He has lost some good coaches, but I believe that DD and his staff got lazy!

We need a coach that can take us to the next level. We have more to offer than most think. Hell if we could just recruit the metroplex we could play with most people. DD and his staff (RF) have not signed anyone from DISD in at least 2 years and we have not signed many top 100's of the metroplex much less the state. DD and his staff have the give up when it comes to recruiting. If DD wants to run the ball so damn much, why doesn't he go out and get big lineman?? I could go on, but until we recruit the metroplex better we will not improve. No matter who coaches this team.

Has anyone ever heard it so quiet at Fouts?? I went down at halftime and the crowd sounded as if I was at church or a funeral. I have been going to games since the early 70's and have never seen a crowd so dejected. SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE AND FAST!!!!

Did anyone forward the article to Jackson and Ray. Maybe they will get a clue.
