Yes, I meant MBB and softball, but it was a bit ambiguous. Just win, baby!

Why are we playing Wyoming?

I’m looking forward to the game. I welcome the 1 and 1’s. It’s fun to trash talk to different fan bases. All good. -
I saw a Twitter post yesterday that said, “Scott has the potential to play in the NBA.” I love his effort, his defense, and his developing offensive game. The dudes a gamer. The dudes a winner.

IMO, knocks off equals wins. I don’t see it as an upset win, instead another way to say “won the game.” I’m not above being corrected on this one.

This is what I think the perception is, too. “Not good enough for the NCAA Tournament.” We know the reality, but the perception of the casual fan is not reality. The NIT is not a battle for the 69th best team in the country.

New NIT Bracketology Has Us A 1 Seed

We beat GCU that just got the AQ. That should have helped us out, right? -
TP was player of the year. Walker was definitely player of the game and is incredibly talented. As I understand the award, it’s the entire body of work in the conference. TP played every game and had a more complete season (defense, scoring, durability). I don’t know that this offense had holes as much as a lack of ball movement. The scoring droughts do get frustrating, though. It eventually had the answer last night, but it waited too long to figure out what was needed. (Still don’t understand why we didn’t feed Scott on the corner 3 on a more regular basis). I think Moore is going to be a stud for us next season. I’m basing this off of the limited playing time I saw of him this season.

We’d host Seton Hall? I’m in!

I think we were trying to be methodical, until it didn’t make sense. We pushed the final 2 mins? 1:30?, and our guys responded. It was a bit too late, though. I felt like Rubin/Kai/Tylor could have gotten into the paint whenever they wanted to. I also felt Scott was available for the corner 3 the entire game. Feel for the team…they busted their butts all season. Hope some postseason play is in the cards.

They scored more points than us today, but I’m not ready to call them outright better. We spotted them a 20 point lead and still almost won the game. I’ll be glad when Walker has run of eligibility. He’s a really good player.

Thanks, @CMJ. I don’t watch too much CBB aside from our games, so your insight is appreciated. Hope we’re able to continue trending upwards today, tomorrow, and so on.

I caught some of the WVU/Kansas game yesterday. Both teams have great players, but I don’t know that their team play is better than UNT. A lot of sloppy play/passes/transitions/defense. I realize my Green glasses may blur my vision, but I just don’t see head and shoulders better than us.

Congrats on the latest addition to your family!

I was wondering, too. Trying to force a fumble by punching it out of the ball carriers hands?

3-9-23 - Did we sign someone today?

I hope to someday be referred to as “a big time difference maker.” As of today, I’m likely referred to as an “adequate employee that usually gets to work on time.” Not quite the same energy. 😂😂😂- 13 replies
