He’s from Dallas and was in line for a promotion when the inevitable happened. -

The lowest hanging fruits are the communities: Denton and the university. Recent successes, outreach, and promotions should help. We’ll see. -
Timing on making Hodge official?

Ha! Right. “Tournament wins, multiple championships, MVP’s, but the pace is too slow for me. I’d rather watch a high scoring loss.” There might be some fans with that view, but not many. -
The “GMG’s” from non UNT affiliated co workers was equal/more from our Purdue win. Regardless of how the people found out about our win, they found about it. Still on cloud nine. Great season!

For the record. I would not prefer this route. If JM thinks Hodge is the guy, let’s do it. I’d rather a search, but JM hired Mac and Golding at ACU…he seems to know basketball. I’m good with it. Let’s keep the train rolling! -
The MGSF is pretty active. Every MBB win was followed by an email and/or tweet asking for monetary support. I’ve given more than usual due to the emotional high from the victories. I’m clearly their target audience…They saw me coming from a mile away. 😂

Officially Announced: GM the HC for TTU

Good for him. GMac brought a lot of UNT alums out of the woodwork. It’s up to us to build on it. Wish him all the best…unless we play his team. -
Loved Kai’s confidence, tenacity, and energy! It was great watching him compete this season. His joy at the trophy presentation brought a smile to my face. Great moment for him.

Cowboys congrats!

Such a great season! So proud of this team! The University of North Texas are the NIT Champions!
-
Scott! I’m so freaking nervous! Love the heart of this team! Keep fighting!

Man, if we could hit a 3 or two…it’s going to be a battle til the end
-
We subbed out pretty early. Wonder the reasoning? Good game so far.

It’s definitely more money and the Big XII have great athletes, but like FAU has proven, more money does not equal better team. I wish Grant the best, but I’m not so sure “the next level” is accurate anymore.
-
I think we’ve known that this is Grants last run for a few days. Credit to him and the team for continuing to battle. A testament to his staff and the players. Hoping to send off this team with a championship! Wish him well. GMG!

Harry’s in Vegas, man. Let him do him. No time for us small time. 😝😝😝

I think it’s fine. The UNLV fill ins were fine. Actual UNT students would be better, but it is what it is. As long as they play the right music (Fight song, alma mater, Fly like an eagle, then we’re good).

Stone doesn’t have the size of Sissoko, but man that kid doesn’t back down from ANYONE! He’ll pester they’ll bigs…if needed.

Scott had a big game last time out. Would love to see him go off tomorrow. I’m a huge fan of his game!

Do we talk about Kai enough?

He’s been clutch for us throughout the season. I feel like his defense has really improved throughout the course of the year. His midrange game has given us a nice weapon when our offense gets stagnant. He and Rubin are a great 1-2 complement to TP.
