Our 2020 matchup was surprisingly close, or certainly closer than I would have imagined... If we defeat them in 2021 that would be an achievement!

Couldn't agree more!! Incredible day and fun to have a New Year's Day Bowl for the Mean Green. Fun/Sad fact: This is the first UNT football win I saw in person. My first 2 years at UNT were '05 and '08 (0 home wins these years). I didn't get to as many home games after that as I wanted and I guess I was bad luck! But this got me motivated to be a proper fan/alumni and I have been a regular attendee to most home games since then.

My other concern (and I don't know if this was talked about on here) was that 5-6 of the games we played last year the opposing team had their best offensive performance of the season, with many of those performances in our house. I do not want to stomach that again this year. Music to my ears!

My first UNT game as a freshman! Walking to The Tomato afterwards a student leaning over the rail at College Inn was shouting to anyone that would listen it was time to fire DD.

I am hoping to pull off a doubleheader this weekend where I can fly back Saturday night and still make it to the 10/10 Cowboys home game. So 11am would be ideal!

Disappointed to see Rice on the list. I am hoping to get down to the Rice game this year. Its close and has an interesting history as the site of Super Bowl VIII and the "We chose to go to the Moon" speech.

Is there still a lot of talk that the Big 12 breaking up? I haven't heard anything in a while, but this is the only way I could see SMU joining.

Adaway or the Murphy Twins. I would like to see the 4 man front take some of the pressure off of Tyreke and KD Davis and open up more lanes for them to make tackles and control the run game. They could have a big impact if we get our wish.

Maybe if the football gods would be cruel enough to make this happen they could at least have Preston Stone transfer up here? One of y'all might have to ask for that, I said all my prayers for Darden getting drafted

That summer my in-laws (Buckeye fans) gifted me and my father-in-law club tickets to the Ohio State vs TCU game at AT&T Stadium, which was played the same day of course. Sadly I missed out on this glorious day in UNT history, but I still had a great time!

I agree, if we are playing at a 2019-2020 level the Liberty game scares me more than Mizzou. Looking at Mizzou's last 2 years there are some scores that ease the worry a little bit, but I won't have the Arkansas level of optimism.

I opted for the free vacation instead... Which I could easily afford with my solar power savings.

I had plans to attend this game, but my wife had already made plans for us to go see Ender's Game in theaters that night. It had to be that night (opening night), it absolutely could not be over the weekend for reasons I do not remember. Happy ending though. The movie was terrible and I don't miss too many UNT games now
