  1. I'm from El Paso so definitely preaching to the choir. And agreed on everything you said. They are so sporadic in supporting their teams, it can be pathetic. There is not much to do in EP anyway yet the teams are sooo bad that people still won't show up. Back on topic though, I think UTEP to MWC would be a nightmare. They are whipping boys now, I can't imagine that changing in that conference
  2. I never understood why there was so much hype for UTEP to join the MWC. Other than geography, how does it make sense? UTEP doesn't support athletics as it is, would they all of a sudden start caring if they changed conferences? Maybe since Natalicio has retired but it would probably take them a while. They stink it up here so then what? They go to what is perceived to be a superior conference, what keeps them from stinking it up there too? And honestly, what value do they add other than a good cross country and track team? (son of a UTEP grad so I follow UTEP by proxy) Agreed on all of your points. Especially on the glorified community college that UTSA is.
  3. To me, this makes the most sense and what I think is the most likely scenario. AAC raids the Mountain West, opening up a path for us to join the Mountain West.
  4. Do you promise? Even more motivation to get it done. Only TCU deserves to have a football program.
  5. I like it, we are trending upwards at what appears to be the right time. Y'all want some comic relief? Head over to CSNbbs and read the continual circle jerk of homers listing why their school is the best fit for the AAC and is guaranteed to be heading there next. Never seen so much delusion on one board. That said, looking forward to #North Texit
  6. Same question. I looked throughout the entirety of the board and saw nothing about it. Only thing I saw was of the improvement of the walkways going through campus
  7. Excellent opportunity for him. He was special while he was here so this is no surprise
  8. Looking for big things from Novil this season. We're definitely going to need it.
  9. Tell them to take it from me, life isn't always better out of state. You only realize what you miss about Texas once you have left.
  10. No shame in losing a recruit to Ohio State, but it would be very ironic since his Twitter is littered with #LeaveALegacyAtUNT. Good luck with that at an established program like Ohio State
  11. I'm not worried. He's already been putting that kind of pressure on himself since he was in high school. Also, he's already shown how he performs when teams target him. He bounces right back up and does things like he did on the last play of The Drive.
  12. I never follow these articles. It's always a crap shoot for their rankings of Group of 5 programs, and what has Southern Miss shown that has everyone rank them so high? Genuine question. Everyone has them as favorites and I'm not sure as to why
  13. Took you long enough 😜 When I saw he changed his Twitter background to himself in a Mean Green uniform in front of Apogee, I knew it was only a matter of time.
  14. Any press is good press. Check out some things people have mentioned on CSNbbs: https://csnbbs.com/thread-874986-page-21.html App State fans asking about Mason and stating that they will check out a few games due to all of the press they have seen him get recently which has peaked their curiosity. This is exactly what our program needs.
  15. His Twitter background profile pic is him in a Mean Green uniform in front of Apogee. I'm pretty confident in getting this commit, to say the least
  16. North Texas, College Football Playoff bound
  17. Ask and you shall receive. That is a lot of beef in this class
  18. Fresh as hell. Easily my favorite look
