Watched the live stream for most of the game. We didn't play as well as we could. We also could've played worse. Here's why: 1. First year in the system, first year OC in Harrell. Let's be honest we expect execution but he ain't exactly putting out the best play calls 2. Patchwork O-line designed for power run game. Let's face it this o-line could be better. But again. First year in an EXACT OPPOSITE system. These guys werent recruited for a Air Raid system. 3. Freshman QB. Yes Fine lit it up in high school, but he's still adjusting to the speed of the game and the complexity of the defenses he sees. Give him time. He has the tools. He will be good 4. We lost to a better team. Regardless of circumstances. MTSU is in line to win the conference. They may very well win out the rest of the way and I wouldn't be surprised. 5. 3-4 wins will be a VAST improvement over last year, and let's face it, this team has been competitive in every game they've played and will continue to improve. Could we have won? Yes. Am I disappointed? Yes. Will we play better? Yes. Y'all need to temper your expectations. Littrell will right this ship. I am enjoying the development of so many talented young players and excited for the future of UNT football. It'll be okay. Chill.

Everything I'm reading about this new regime from the top down makes me so damn excited for this program Littrell has the team fired up Wren Baker and team are already implementing short term and long term fixes. HE'S BEEN HERE A MONTH AND ALREADY VISIBLY SHOWN MORE EFFORT AND TRANSPARENCY THAN RV'S STAFF EVER DID IN 15 YEARS Smatty, I'd kiss you if I were into that sort of thing. Couldn't be more excited by the direction of this program

Too bad they decided the all black uniforms weren't good anymore. I remember getting blackout shirts for the 2013 Rice game on Halloween and how incredible it was to see the all black uni's with the entire crowd in black. Probably my favorite UNT moment in person(I was unfortunately out of town for the HOD bowl)

Well considering he is our recruiting expert and we've offered him I'd assume the staff is going after him pretty hard. After next year our QB cupboard is bare. Shanbour gone, Means converted, O'hara gone, Morris gone, Chumley coverted. As of right now the only other QB we have past 2017 besides Fine (and he's not a guarantee as a PWO) is Mitch Cason I wouldn't be surprised to see this staff try to get 2 QB's this class

Rushing for sure. Jeffrey Wilson has the makings of an all conference back if healthy. He's averaging something like 6 yards a carry, went for 157 and 3 TDs against Rice. Pass game is improving. We'll see

The one advantage we'll have for Army is we get an extra week to prepare for the triple option. I think that will help tremendously

Correct. I don't think Murray was so much hurt as he was bad against Florida. Starting 5 up front was Woodworth-Rice-Barr-Henson-Keenan Gunter got hurt when he subbed for Henson later in the game
