Remember that victory hall has a twin that hasnt been built yet. Goes right on the other side of that circle. I think the ipf would best fit where the current practice fields are so it can be connected to the athletic center. I think they should make new outdoor fields where the intramural joints are currently. I would imagine the basketball arena would go where the hotel/convention center was proposed. I bet they have something planned for the space the current soccer stadium sits on... Like an expansion or redesign of the athlete academic center, which is truly an embarrassment for a university of this size and with the academic success our students have had.

I best they put in LEDs like the wbb locker room got. Also, they put up the graphics and added some electronics to some of the rows of lockers... Or so it seems.

For me, it is a matter of setting up a culture of consistency. If the assistants are a revolving door, it will show on the field. Coach Litt probably doesn't want that either cause it detracts from the momentum of the team and staff. I don't recall... but that could have been true at that point. These hires happen fast.

This is insane... I believe it will inevitably hurt us should we have a better year next year because lord knows they will come running to the well once more.

Are we sure about this? I don't think the salaries of AD employees would show up as part of the state employee registry if that is wasn't where their money is coming from.

I hope Davis becomes like a Marcus Trice type of player for us... I think he will legitimately compete for that Nickle spot this year, but will end up getting red-shirted because we have those two guys already in place. Ashton Preston better bring his hardhat to practice or this dude is gonna take your job.

I agree that he should be paid what he is being paid... i just thing Eke and Reffett should be paid more. maybe Reffett should be at 190-200k and eke a bit above that. Also, nate brown is due a raise above 100k and, once june hits, Mainord is losing his 200k check from Kentucky and will be due a raise to about 150-160k from the 75k we paid him this past year. Anyway this goes, we will need to pay about 200k more to these coaches after next season to be competitive in retaining what we have or hiring their replacements.

Davis was making 150k. i think we should shell out that much for his replacement and also increase the pay for our DCs. No reason why Graham Harrell should be making more than Reffett and Ekeler. I also do not believe that any of our coaches should be making under 100k at this point... except for maybe the recruiting coordinator. I hate to lose brad Davis. He seemed like he was a great coach and our oline may have actually over achieved last year believe it or not.

As far as I am concerned, the AD should be trying to find any way possible to expand the weight room... like double or triple it. and the indoor training facility for as many purposes as possible. Track and Baseball facilities being build would then put us on par with our conference and those we aspire to compete with. I personally think that the indoor facility should be placed where the practice fields currently are and the intramural fields should be made into the practice fields. this way, the indoor facility is as close to both the training fields and weight room as possible.

I'm ok with Fine being the starter if he earns it, but He does appear to have the weakest arm of the three guys we are talking about. That limits the ability to "take the top off" the defense as coach Litt would say!

I can't even imagine what it must be like for him to get there, be all pro, and then retire like this. Zach Orr has to be one of my favorite people I don't actually know. Wish him the best but I know he will excel at whatever he does next. Afterall, the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior.

I'm pretty sure this isn't the guy they didn't want to tell about visiting. I think i know who that was and he is a LB.

Im basing that on videos i have seen of their practices where saban helps out with the safeties when he isnt busy running the show. I know that is his background so i think that is why they dont have a dedicated safeties coach.

when they talk about fit, it usually has to do with the Xs and Os... probably not a problem personality wise. just differences in approach and the fact that Tommy Perry is not an air raid type of coach.

I ish this kid well, but unless we planned to move him to the OL or something, im not worried. Big body, but has never been a productive receiver even in HS. Commented before i read... Yeah, good luck Rem, but i don't see the fit for us.

if Harrell is calling lays still, he needs to go back to square one and redevelop his approach. Rough.
