i really hope this is a joke... im a graduate student at Louisville and i would really prefer not to have a problem head coach like petrino!

I think Charlie strong is a big time/ high profile coach... he is currently lifting that louisville program to a place it has never been before and more importantly, his pay check says so. he is one of the top 5 highest paid coaches already... the only thing i would worry about with him is that he isnt the most verbose or elequent guy and may have some difficulty dealing with the UT politics he will have to constantly face.

im currently a grad student at Louisville and i think that is a better hire for Texas than it is a Job for Strong... he is gonna be under appreciated there and put under way too much pressure to win right away! as far as stories go, the opening game between NT and UT would have a great story line with Strong and McCarney and also Zed Evans!

im not on twitter so i cant prove it (just trust me on this) but DT, in a tweet to little Mac, seems to think the team is going to be little Mac's team next year... you can never tell what is gonna happen but i think there is a really good reason why Andrew has been getting the scrap minutes this year. hopefully the competition is going to be fierce and bring the absolute best out of them because we need to stomp out UT next season!!!

is he still committed to NT? i dont really trust the recruiting sites to be current on any of our players so does anyone have any info on that??? would love to have him come play for the mean green!!!

i think the ticket sales have gone well, all things considered. i also hit up rally house today. got a nice long sleeve shirt for the game tomorrow!!!

6 straight winning seasons with at least half of them being 10 win seasons where we beat a P5 team in the regular season and a bowl game... then maybe we see one 4* recruit, who is smart enough not to be exploited by some of those programs who like to collect athletes, will choose to come here! i have a good feeling about these two staying committed. i would like to see Pipkin (Carthage running back) try to walk on. im sure they can find a place for him on the team in the next couple years even if it is just special teams... kid moves well!!!

O'keeron Rutherford looks faster than i thought he would... even more reason why our receiving core is gonna get a major upgrade next season!!!

By all accounts, Cyril is "far and away" the best lineman on the team... for this year, Y'barbo should be second team. but next year, i expect to see 3 first team all conference O-linemen (Ybarbo, Lemon, Antonio). they are all really that good!!!

poor Kid... good thing is that life goes on for him, unlike most of those "fans" who were saying that garbage who clearly have nothing else going for them!

Dont think we need either of the super tall OTs. Caleb Chumley would be an amazing get! i would really like to get Nehemiah Wagner though (along with Dominique Barnett). that would make our DB class very solid. it's hard to really tell what the unfilled needs of the team are besides the d-line so i'm sure the coaches will fill in the blanks with the players that they need!

Christian Beard, Xavier Washington, Willy Ivery, Max Martial, Nehemiah Wagner, Dominique Barnette, Jeffrey Wilson, JT Williams or DJ williams... peyton Hendrix is a pipe dream, and Caleb Chumley is more than likely out of our reach.

Great!!! now we just need Willy Ivery to round out the receiver class and we'll be sitting pretty!!!!
