Looking back I think it was good to move on from SL. I am not sure about Morris yet. CUSA is one of the weakest conference in the country (not just this year) and we could not win a championship. Best of luck to SL at OU. This year will be interesting for sure. I am worried about the defense again, with a three man front you have strong lb play. Seems to be a big hole for us.

He is just starting out, I sure he will rise through the ranks. It got to tough being an asst coach with all the moves you have to make to get ahead.

Why I dont like SMU. One the billboards they place in Denton and the precious visitors to our forum. Two, I was at the SMU game here at DATCU stadium. This SMU guy bought a seat on the home side 40 yard line right in front of me. They were throwing out t-shirts and he made an effort to catch one. He caught it and instead of giving to one the kids sitting in the area he decides he will throw back on the field. Who does that?

I honestly dont know what to expect in this game. I dont know much about them or even us.

Stanford will go as soon as someone calls them. They are really the biggest name the pac 10 has now that everyone else has left. OSU, WSU Stanford, smut, Tulane, Tulsa, rice. It will be a smart conference but I doubt they get a big contract with that lineup of teams. Even if they pick SDSU, AFA , CSU those are not big names. I guess the MWC and AAC will have to merge or one goes away in the favor of another. The AAC does not pick up any big names also. I rather play Texas State than SMUT. Texas State would bring fans to the game here. I hope for the best but expect the worse. Been a UNT fan a long time.

Well ND, Stanford , smut and Cal can all schedule each other. So they got three games anyway. I sure ND is talking to SMU to go independent.

I am hearing now that the Dallas Cowboys may join the Big 10 conference. SMU has already sent a letter to NFL asking to join the Eastern Conference

I guess the ACC needs another doormat. Going to be hard for SMUT to win. But good luck to them on their journey and thanks for the check. We dont need to schedule them in the future. They don't bring many fans to Denton and we bring a lot to theirs so it helps them with attendance. I sure we can find someone else to play. I would rather play Boise State than Smut. I guess when FSU and Clemson leave the for big 10 they are hoping they can ride along with them. This why AAC added UNT to replace SMUTland in the metroplex.

if we can get some of the west coast schools in the AAC it might open up our recruiting in California.

From what I heard is that SMUT crossed out the Pac10 on there interest letter they sent and wrote in the ACC and sent it to them.

we can only control what we can control. Rice is no loss, Smut dont like them anyway. UTSA they will have no rivalry games. If they are gone we should not schedule any of them. SMUT doesn't bring fans to our field as well as Rice. We have big crowds at our stadium because we love to hate them. They have big crowds we play that at Ford because we love to hate them. I am not sure who we pick up to replace them with. If SDSU goes maybe it opens the door for some MWC schools. Regardless of who they get it wont be the PAC12 of old. You think someone will pay for Rice to replace USC and UTSA replace UCLA, SMU to replace Oregon or Washington. The equation wont be equal.
