Totally agree I was almost going crazy during that one. And whatever some of you want to say that clearly is not on DT, that is on the coaches. Now it is hard to tell for me whether the subs problem is on McCarney or Canales, but the called play I blame on Canales. To be fair though he had called a good game the week before.

Now as foorball schedules are usually made long before the games happen, this makes me somewhat unsure as to whether this will actually happen.

I have to say that the sun belt preforms admirably right now... but mid to long term it has another disadvantage, that really limits the ceiling. Wright waters goodbye gift was a tv contract that basically locked the sunbelt into getting some coverage but no money for football until like 2022 (did not look that up, might only be 2019). I believe that will haunt the belt for some time to come. And I think I remember darkly that our AD said something of the money difference between the conferences being 700 000$. Please don''t fry me if I got the numbers wrong. But that would be quite a bit at our level (It pretty much means you don't have to play one of those inopportune opportunity games).

Yes a bowl game with this team should really be possible, if not a must. And with all the ineligble teams this year 6-6 teams are verrrry improbable to be left out

It bothers me too Well, I do not think it very graceful to make promises you know you will not all keep. You may say that scholarships are only for a year and renewable and those are the rules, but i think it is details, many recruits are not really that aware of it or blind it out. You may call that part of the game, but I do think it is different if an 18 year old recruit is not capable to keep his promisses / commitments, than if a 40+ year old head coach who represents not just a BB team but a university does it
