  1. Amen. There were a few times last year when I could have stayed home to watch away games, but instead I drove the hour from my house to the Pourhouse to watch. It's definitely worth the extra drive to watch with a bunch other fans. It is the next best thing to being there.
  2. In HD too, if you have an HDTV.
  3. Was there a gomeangreen.com Facebook page at one point? Maybe I'm dreaming it. Seems like something like that could be helpful for getting the word out on events like this.
  4. For game 3, judging by the helmet the pic was from around the time I was at UNT. I pulled out what yearbooks I have and unfortunately there are no rosters. However, in 1987 there was a a picture of a #13 that was a defensive back named Mike Rhone. Don't know if that's him or not. The name doesn't ring a bell.
  5. KXAS Ch. 5 News just did a report on veterans going to college and were focussed on UTA and UNT. They had a graphic stating that UNT was sitting at 39,000 students.
  6. I usually set up on the South side of the Blue lot, near the ticket office. The beer is usually something with GREEN in the label, but I always steer clear of Rolling Rock when we play MTSU due to the little blue horse on it. Superstition. For the Rice game, I plan on grilling up some skirt steak topped with GREEN chili sauce and melted pepper jack cheese. Not sure on the sides yet. For the ULALA game, I'm going to grill up some jalapeno sausage I have in the freezer along with some dirty rice. Not sure about the other games yet, but I plan to incorporate some GREEN tortilla chips along the way as well as some GREEN apple popcorn (which is better than it sounds, and yes it's green) I found through Uptown Popcorn.
  7. PESH lost in OT: 49-48. Looks like Quoner saw a good game.
  8. Pourhose? Twice? I'll be at the PourHOUSE for the game. I hope both events are packed with Mean Green Faithful!
  9. I foresee somewhat of a flashback to 2007. Now playing the part of Daniel Meager - Nathan Tune. Now playing the part of Giovanni Vizza - Derek Thompson.
  10. I'm sure I'll make it to Pourhouse if there isn't a watching party in my neck of the woods. Just hoping for a shorter drive.
  11. I'm hoping to see a watching party pop up in Collin County. (Dodie's in Allen would be great!)
  12. Coach Dabo Swinney: Mr. Bean: Coach Andre' Powell: The Tick:
  13. Signing autographs at the 2010 5K run.
  14. Signing autographs at the 2010 5K run.
  15. Signing autographs at the 2010 5K.
  16. Matt Tomlinson, Estaban Santiago, Coleman Freeley, and Kelvin Drake signing autographs at the 2010 5K.
  17. We noticed... I had a great time with my boys. The weather felt a lot better than we were expecting. My boys gave up mid-way through the 1 mile fun run and we wen't back and watched the rest of the scrimmage. It acutally felt cool in the shade of the score board in the south end zone. There was a pretty strong breeze all morning. The kids really enjoyed getting player autographs. There were about 25 to 30 players signing. We have a great group of young men playing for the team. They were very friendly and polite to the kids. I remember especially being impressed with Esteban Santiago and how much he seemed to enjoy the kids. The bounce house was a big hit too, as usual. I really appreciate the work the AD put into this.
