  1. I don't see how we didn't get the ball again. They never reset the shot clock. Sissoko had the chance to pull us into the lead. We need to make the easy layups.
  2. They have 6 team fouls so let's hope we keep driving on them.
  3. Trying to get too cute on the inside. I wish we would move the ball a bit more.
  4. Really just need to make the buckets on offense. The shots and chances are there, they just look nervous. St. John's is very physical and talented, but to defense has been settling in.
  5. I didn't want to start another thread, but at least we had good ratings for a nationally televised game.
  6. Looking forward to this game. Beating a BE team (we should be the Big East, but that's a discussion for a different thread), would be a great accomplishment. Let's hope the defense is tightened up for this one. GMG!
  7. I remember in the Buggs interview he was praising Scott, saying something like, "That's a next level NBA guy." He's been grinding and getting better every year.
  8. Don't know what to tell you. Now if the data on ESPN is wrong then that's my mistake for not double checking. I thought it was correct, I have no problem admitting I was wrong on something.
  9. If you are going to be a troll at least be good at it.
  10. Are you seriously that dense or just talking to talk? The question was: Fact: He was 34th nationally in 3pts LAST YEAR. That's a FACT. That's over a season, not two games. So tell me again why he isn't a great shooter? Because he's having lower stats in 2 games this year? Have you heard of a thing called sample size?
  11. Exactly what I was going to say. That Nike money can sustain anything Oregon needs.
  12. So when someone shows you with facts that he is a great shooter you just ignore it? Great argument there.
  13. He did still play great, and maybe it's not an accurate telling of what happened, just what it looked like on the broadcast.
  14. The thing about Moore is bringing him in wouldn't affect Stone as they don't play the same position. At 5'11 he would have to be a point guard. You'd have to either make him a direct sub for Jones or slide Jones over off of the PG position if you want to keep him on the court, like we did when Perry came in last year.
  15. He already makes $7M a year. With what they have going up in Oregon I don't know if they have what it takes to lure him.
  16. Yeah, he was missing a few and he probably felt like it wasn't his night so gave up some shots he would have most likely taken if he was shooting better. On the broadcast they said he was only 2nd to TP on 3s in the nation last year IIRC. When he gets comfortable he's going to be incredible.
  17. Nice game from Noland, though I know he got a lot of FTs at the end. Jones was getting a little frustrated and seemed to have a personal vendetta to score on Fidler, I'm sure there were some words were exchanged. He needs to just play his game and not lose focus. Very happy to see Sissoko playing with some confidence, he needs to come out every game like this. If he and Allen are both mentally strong this team can do great things. Stone is finally contributing on offense, let's hope he gets things rolling this year. The defense is still not 100% clicking, too many lost assignments and open looks. I don't know if we are shifting away from that style or if the players aren't playing up to Hodge's standards.
  18. Dude's been in a huge slump. Let's hope he finally snaps out of it and starts to turn things around.
  19. Technically it can't. We are the worst in the nation right? There is no lower we can go.
  20. Really good win today vs a very good team. Overall I am happy, the team was calm and fought back after losing the lead. Edwards is looking like a stand out from the transfers, but all of the new guys have contributed. One of the things that need to improve is covering their shooters, on many plays our guys seem to get lost or try and help too much leaving their man open. That's something I expect will be ironed out as Hodge and co. will drill the guys on this. Another is ball security, too many lost balls on the dribble. Sissoko needs some confidence, he looks like his old self, not like in the NIT. He has all of the tools, he just needs to put it all together. Stone continues to be an offensive liability, I hope he really turns it around this year. He just seems to always be going 100mph, just slow down and pick your shots. For the games coming up I'd like to see Moore get some minutes, and maybe Morgan if we are up big.
