  1. Wow, incredible story. Thank God that everyone is okay and will recover.
  2. Believe that Frow "opted out" last season.
  3. Good looking player. Hopefully some of our Oklahoma roots on staff can hook this one in.
  4. Absolutely, I’d bet Mason is his QB.
  5. Good to hear...solid chemistry sets the foundation for a successful team!
  6. Prediction: Ruder comes in and wins the job in fall camp; Aune is starter exiting spring ball, and backup in the fall. Good news is, that both guys have years of playing time ahead of them.
  7. Come September, hopefully we will all be packed into Apogee stadium after enjoying a fun day of tailgating!
  8. Absolutely. He had the player buy-in to the culture of wanting to be a successful player on special teams.
  9. Biagi was outstanding. Hoping that we identify and hire another one like him.
  10. Reading the signs from Texas and Texas A&M AD's, along with Governor Abbott's announcement today in Lubbock, it is looking like we can bank on more normalcy at our sporting events in the near term.
  11. Getting Bennett was an incredibly intelligent move by Littrell. At this point, we needed someone of his stature, so whatever means it took is worth the risk.
  12. This would be fantastic news if he were to breakout and be an impact player on the 2021 Mean Green defense! That's why he was brought here...
  13. Excellent article @Brett Vito! This gives a great glimpse into Bennett's attitude and defensive philosophy. He sounds like he's hungry and fired up to help UNT achieve the goals that we all know are possible!
  14. Absolutely, we will win more games if we hold them to <30ppg. Also with the complimentary play of a solid defense (field position, turnovers, offensive possession opportunities), the offense should inherently improve to a degree.
  15. Congratulations to Coach Bloesch and his family! This was clearly a strategic move to keep him around, and he ought to be able to add another tremendous statistical year to his resume this fall. As has been mentioned before, he was Littrell's 'eye in the sky' coaching from the press box as Littrell is on the sidelines; and with that he was already naturally involved in the in-game play calling. This will be a simple "transition", and likely in title only; but kudos for him and the work he did in his first year in Denton. Looking forward to continuing to enhance our OL play with his leadership of that group.
  16. Love the game experience that Thornton brings with him to Denton. That will give us 4 transfer DB's, and hopefully we can get quality production out of all.
  17. Cleared to go. His presence on deep balls will be a very welcome addition again in 2021!
  18. Their recruiting strategy is absolutely paying dividends as shown in the past two seasons by results on the field. Dykes has leveraged the Dallas mantra with the high school coaches and kids as the article alludes to, and is winning on kids in the portal who go away to play out of HS and want to come back closer to home. I know our fanbase can't stand SMU, but we should give credit where credit is due.
  19. This kid can really run. Would be a nice pickup!
