Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Mac donate the $1 million to complete the athletic center? If so, the athletic center is complete, thus the money is spent. And unless I'm missing something, Mattress Mac has already taken the donation deduction or whatever portion he is allowed, on that years income taxes. C'mon you you accountant and CPA types, care to weigh in on this. MM can't take his money back or re-direct it to some other department.

I agree Zeke. Just going by NDT's original post, I would have no problem naming the practice fields after Darrell Dickey. Darrell did some good things for the program and if it naming something after DD mends a few fences with Mac, that's fine too. Mac did give the athletic dept. $1 million dollars to finish out the AC. Bottom line, let's not burn any bridges with him. Now, let's go find an new coach.

Uh, it takes coaches who are out recruiting a top RB to make your point valid. At the game yesterday, I did not see Jamario run behind the Green Team line. I could be wrong. Trust me, that OL was doing some great blocking for Cox. But yes, Cox did a good job of finding those small holes to run through. Jamario may be trying too hard, but behind the blocking of the Green Team line, who knows what could happen. Not to take anything away from Davenport, but I'd like to see Dickey play Johnny Quinn a little more with the Green Team. 'Course, Dickey may not want to hurt the 1st teams feelings.
