Chico does not need to be fired. But.............Chico is not the same Chico personality-wise like last year. I think the man is still bitter over not getting the HC job. Hey, that's life in the big-leagues. Well, how about the "mid-major" leagues anyway. Chico has a burr under his saddle and it shows.

Our defensive line and linebacker play has really improved. It's the guys responsible for the secondary that have "dropped the ball" for us. Pardon the pun. Our DB's are just bad.

A few "eye witness" facts from the ULL game which I attended. (I've attended the past three ULL-UNT games in Lafayette) - Friendly people, willing to offer food and conversation to opposing team fans. Genuine people. - I doubt they had 100K tailgating; but they did have a whole bunch. Very impressive. - There were many empty seats in the stadium but I'm sure if you put the fans sitting in the grassy end zones into those seats you would get the 32K attendance - I think of student section and their extremely foul mouths as "LSU Lite" (fans). - great game-day atmosphere but dry and hot - No offense ULL fans, but get a larger video board. The one you have is so small that it's useless. - Our DB's were still reading their press clippings from the FAU game! - By far the best attended ULL game I've been to. Previous games at ULL may have had 2-3000 fans on the press box side. WINNING HELPS ATTENDANCE!

Exactly! When the "roadkill" start playing those elaborate schedules for several years and are manhandled severely, you'll see a different picture of the real utsa's foray into FBS football.

Tough schedules for utsa. Need I remind everyone of UNT's schedule in 1995? Let's see the roadkill win some of those OOC games before anointing them the next Alabama.

That store that I provided the link to has the garden flags in stock. I ordered one today. I hated to knock the felt one that the Spirit Store provided but I like this other one better.

I finally found a UNT Garden Flag to display near my driveway. I see so many ut and ATM flags, but a UNT garden flag has been hard to come by. Until now. Check out this website. Garden Flag I bought a flag at the Spirit Store but it is too large and made of a felt type material that I don't think will hold up in bad weather.

I understand. I did the same thing several years ago at a ULL game in Lafayette. The people are gracious enough to share their wonderful food at their tailgate. I'm trying to please Momma. You know the saying, "if momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy". But that's O.K. Who says I can't please Momma AND get in some good South Louisiana tailgatin' food? Like me, you just have to learn to pace yourself in these situations. The best of both worlds!!!

Guys, you can talk "football smack" with the Cajuns, but don't act like you know about Cajun cooking. I'm originally from the "capital of Louisiana", Port Arthur, Tx, just across the border from Louisiana, so I know something about cajun cooking. In my world, Shreveport is not Cajun! You got to be close to dem bayous to be true Cajun. Where else can you find seasonings like-

The UL-Lafayette fans are tough on fans wearing other teams' colors. Booed Out Of The Swamp Personally, I think that's a little harsh for UNT to rag on such fans. We need butts in the seats really bad.

Those programs are not the answer to our attendance woes. Playing good, solid football, and scheduling teams like Rice, Houston, TCU, SMU, UTEP, Baylor, Tx Tech, etc., along with Tulsa and the military academies will help.

Agree. And our AD should be doing everything in their power to schedule schools like Rice, Baylor, TCU, SMU(series scheduled), Houston, Tx Tech, Tulsa, maybe UTEP, etc. All you have to do is look at the attendance at these games at Fouts/Apogee and they were all well attended. Throw in Army and Navy while you're at it. And BTW, I certainly could care less if we play Tx State-San Marcus or UTSA. They mean nothing to me.
