I'm watching the game on stadium right now. I was out of the country last week and missed it. Just a few observations. Our DL doesn't fire off the ball. They pop up every play and La Tech's OL is able to get under their pads and move them with ease. Our tackling is terrible. Arm tackles are not going to do it. Attack the guys and wrap up. Our OL, not very good either. The La Tech DL had little resistance getting to Mason and Siggers. I really hope we can get a couple of JUCO OL/DL guys next year. A change at DC is also inevitable.

I was kind of thinking the same. He seems to be a late bloomer.

Jeff Traylor is a piece of work. There is a reason he was Chad Morris’s right hand man. I was joking around with some coaches at a caravan a few years ago, and they smiled and agreed with my view of him. He belongs back in the high school ranks.

Reffett seems like a good guy. Old school, tough, hard nosed coach. However, our defense is supposed to be an attacking one that gets pressure on the qb. It simply does not do that and our weak secondary gets exposed. I hope we change defensive philosophies next year and get a new DC in here. It's a results based business. Unfortunately, the defense is not producing the proper results.
