  1. Curious....why do you think that?
  2. https://www.texasfootball.com/texas-football-today/?ref=subnav Get's to UNT at the 1 hour 3 minute mark and.....Yep
  3. They're laughable Why the hell would that even be a possibility "we need to go after their coach" lmao
  4. Any GIFs out there of Easly trucking the Arkansas player on his long run?
  5. Well they're LaTech so if they want him, they'll get him. This is their conference. We have to all remember how great they are
  6. https://www.si.com/college-football/2018/09/17/north-texas-trick-play-fake-fair-catch-keegan-brewer another article. Some new info here. just amazing
  7. So we can't watch it on Directv, UVerse or Comcast. What are our options? I guess have to find somewhere that can show it? What sports bars don't have Directv? Man....this sucks.
  8. I don't know. Trying to talk myself into worrying. This is why I can't have nice things
  9. This will be the best offense we've faced so far this year....
  10. Anyone know any update on this? Are they still negotiating? Two more weeks then we're supposed to be on Bein when we play @ Utep
  11. The more I think about it.....we’re in a win/win here. First let me be clear, I want Littrell to stay as long as possible. I would love for him to become our “Gary Patterson” However, the next 2 years are going to be huge for setting this program up for the future. We have to have our eye on 2024-2026 (whenever the TV deals are up and the college football landscape is expected to have a major shuffle) If Littrell stays next year. With Fine and all those weapons all coming back...we will be ranked and we will be a NY6 contender. This ‘19 recruiting class is here and developing. The 2020 recruiting class may be better than this one. This thing really starts rolling. If Littrell does leave after this year. Think about the team coming back and think about the line of coaches that will want to come here and take that team over. We will have a pretty good pick of coaches. The momentum can absolutely sustain and we will be on our way to continuing to build this thing. We’re just now starting to “awake” from a National attention standpoint. With the leadership we have, the record fundraising, the buyout in Littrell’s contract and 200k alumni that are now starting to wake up.....we are in a great position. Again....I love Littrell and I hope he stays for a long time. But we haven’t even begun to scratch the surface of what this program can become. The timing is really good for us either way Littrell decides to go.
  12. Used to....I would have to search really hard to find UNT coverage and I would be able to read everything twice over There’s so much attention on that game yesterday....I can’t get to it all. Pretty awesome.
  13. Our coaching staff noticed they don’t finish. We exploited that. Deal with it Arkansas or maybe do something about it before you get taken advantage of. Good luck the rest of the season.
  14. That’s how you keep the G5 down. Good job SEC refs. You’re doing your job today.
  15. Yeah. Don’t give a damn. It’s time Mean Green fans and alumni start standing up to the media and other local teams. They can disagree with us all they want. Screw them. That’s part of this “sleeping giant” that’s been talked about for years. 200k strong in the area need to come together and start yelling at the top of their lungs we’re here and we’re not going anywhere.
  16. You have to make a conscience decision to omit UNT from these discussions. I truly believe our potential is threatening to the order of things in this area. They DO NOT want us to live up to our potential.
  17. I'm really trying to block out 20 years of watching UNT in these games..... But I'm going to look at this objectively. I think SMU had more talent on the field than we have (if you go by recruiting standards) They had P5 talent all over that D. We out prepared them and had an advantage in that we knew where we were going and they didn't. What happened in that game is what I thought would happen....they were trying to work out some issues and we were locked in our system and they couldn't react....even with perhaps better talent (on paper) I think Mason Fine will be the best QB in that stadium on Saturday and it won't even be close. And in his words he'll be as prepared as he's ever been. Arkansas has the dangerous combination of trying to work out kinks in new systems AND having the pressure of living up to their SEC affiliation. All the pressure is on them. We have none. All this while dealing with an elite QB that knows exactly what he's doing. Our staff is legit. These players are prepared. I don't think it's going to take much for Arkansas to get frustrated....then they're going to look up and realize they're getting beat by an "inferior" team...then doubt is going to creep in...then Mason is going to pop them again....and it's going to snowball. We build momentum....they quit..... I expect boos from that crowd on Saturday. Despite how bad CUSA is right now.....I think the Mean Green get in the NY6 conversation on Saturday. Mason Fine introduces himself to the rest of the nation. UNT 52 Arkansas 31
  18. All across the nation, programs thrive because of people like the Lovelaces.....We're lucky to have them.
  19. Better hydrate Mason.....for all that humidity up there we've never experienced here....
  20. I was thinking along the lines of how far we've come...from the way Dickey used to view these games to now the way THIS team looks at it to all the ridiculousness in between. We've knocked on the door a few times but couldn't finish the deal. (leading Georgia and Iowa in the 3rd quarter recently....)
