  1. Great hire and I love how he has not ego. I hope he loves Denton and stays.
  2. I agree, but we must not fall behind because they will just grind the clock. If we get ahead, make a few stops, extend our lead to 14+ points, they will be forced to throw which is their weakness. I think we win, but it is close.
  3. Wonder how Patrick likes Lubbock and coaching the Re Raiers?
  4. Well played, but he's dead. Prefer our players to be alive and kickin'
  5. The key? Win the toss, an opening drive score, making Army play from behind, effective clock management so they don't end the first half and start the second with the ball, create turnovers and play from ahead. Their offense isn't built to play catch up.
  6. Who is the Waco kid? Did I miss someone?
  7. Newman! He looks like the prototypical center. To me, Donovan has the feet and athletic ability to move to guard and possibly tackle. Love these three OL verbals. Certainly hope they all sign on the dotted line that first Wednesday in February.
  8. Donovan McNabb, this morning on Mike and Mike, said the Cowboys should put Romo and Bryant on the trading block and just continue this youth movement. Thoughts?
  9. Where do you all dump the hot oil?
  10. Craig Robertson: 12 tackles, 4 solo, 1 QB hit, 1 fumble recovery Zach Orr: 13 tackles, 9 solo, 1 fumble recovery Jamize Olwale: no stats Lance Dunbar: no stats
  11. Well, the previous was on Saturday, so today I am going with this, 2 to play 2.
  12. Maybe we should start a "Tailgating Dilemma's" thread to share knowledge, easy tips and trouble shoot.
  13. Not JUCO, but... http://www.hudl.com/athlete/3917007/brendon-weatherspoon http://247sports.com/Player/Josh-Donovan-88671 A good start.
  14. I have used a "fish basket" to turn them all at once. makes it much easier when cooking a lot of wings.
  15. Greg Carter! Thanks. My brain was stuck on Scott and I knew that wasn't correct. I just remember him being on the smallish side but being fearless running the veer. https://texashistory.unt.edu/ark:/67531/metapth332605/m1/7/ Look at the size of some of these OL's and DL's.
  16. Favorite QB we don't talk about much? How about Scott Carter? I believe that was his first name. I have searched on line and can't find any information on him, but I believe he played during the Corky Nelson years. @FirefightnRick, do you remember who I am talking about?
  17. Don't fry them, just grill them.
  18. Don't know about you all, but I am extremely happy with the play of Garner, Scott, Finney and the rest of our LB's this year. These things go both ways. Many said we missed on Bogenschutz (sp?), the QB from Carthage that signed with UTSA, yet he unfortunately ended up with injuries that ended his collegiate career.

  20. True, but we have offered him ten times! We must really want him. http://www.scout.com/player/207232-makyle-sanders http://etsn.fm/north-texas-offers-tyler-lees-makyle-sanders/
  21. If true, then this is an awesome job of recruiting by our staff.
  22. 3 to play 2 has been reported multiple times, so that's what I am going with today.
