    I agree, but we must not fall behind because they will just grind the clock. If we get ahead, make a few stops, extend our lead to 14+ points, they will be forced to throw which is their weakness. I think we win, but it is close.

    The key? Win the toss, an opening drive score, making Army play from behind, effective clock management so they don't end the first half and start the second with the ball, create turnovers and play from ahead. Their offense isn't built to play catch up.

    Newman! He looks like the prototypical center. To me, Donovan has the feet and athletic ability to move to guard and possibly tackle. Love these three OL verbals. Certainly hope they all sign on the dotted line that first Wednesday in February.

    Favorite QB we don't talk about much? How about Scott Carter? I believe that was his first name. I have searched on line and can't find any information on him, but I believe he played during the Corky Nelson years. @FirefightnRick, do you remember who I am talking about?

    Don't know about you all, but I am extremely happy with the play of Garner, Scott, Finney and the rest of our LB's this year. These things go both ways. Many said we missed on Bogenschutz (sp?), the QB from Carthage that signed with UTSA, yet he unfortunately ended up with injuries that ended his collegiate career.
