  1. "Like stepping back in time..." So they have tables where you can play quarters?
  2. Pretty simple for me. I always loved Denton and North Texas had a stellar RTVF program. So I always knew I'd go there.
  3. @meangreenfaninno I think you missed this discussion from last month
  4. On today’s episode of “Nobody Asked”…. 😀 I’ve been on this site for almost 20 years and that’s the first headline ever made me laugh out loud. Well done, sir.
  5. “There's always long-term growth potential with places like USF or North Texas -- but that's a matter of decades, not years.” Decades? Geez I hope not. I’d like to see this sometime in my lifetime and I’m not getting any younger.
  6. I'm as excited as anyone about our new direction, but what's the point of this?
  7. I'm a crusty curmudgeon who hates Twitter, but I agree with you. This is a pretty big deal.
  8. Don't know if this is true or not, but I used to hear stories about people flying in from all over the country to eat there.
  9. I remember a restaurant there but it wasn't a steakhouse. IIRC, just a regular diner-type restaurant.
  10. That's true. I remember the the games of quarters I played there. The pizza, not so much.
  11. David Crosby doesn't exist anymore but he's still iconic. Same with the Tomato and Texas Pickup IMO.
  12. I know there are some folks from the DC area on the board. Anyone heard of a watch party in the area on Friday?
  13. Wooten - dear lord. I spent most of my time there. Ugly as hell, and no windows in the classrooms. Like some sort of detention center. And let’s not forget the library — looked like something from East Germany. There were some bright spots though — the Administration building and the old Smith Hall that housed KNTU.
