🤔 Let’s delve into this a little deeper. Why wouldn’t Army join the American? Especially with UCF, Cincinnati, Houston and smu all departed making the path to a Conference Title much more attainable and possible chance at playoffs. Conference payout and keeping Army/Navy game intact. No brainer.

They had 16,000 at that game. What did we get for Temple, 6,000? Good grief.

Most of us grew up watching the Army Navy game every year for the last 50 years or so. Who could have ever imagined that we would one day be in the same football conference?

A real question? Naw, I was just trying to see if I could hook ya Emmitt. Just kidding. 😉 However, San Marcus is 30 miles from Austin. 49 from San Antonio and close to New Braunfels. Cool locations with lots to do. Texas St campus is not too bad either. Good coach. Football team trending up. Sun Belt conference competitive and might be perceived by some as the top G5. But yes we are, say it Emmitt, North Texas, better than everyone else.

Time was and is, always of the essence.
