I was just curious what he is going to do? I thought his size and speed were intriguing. I knew he was interested in UNT and a few other schools but can't find anything on him except for something I can't read on scout about how he is sticking close to home. Only problem is I don't see him on NM, NMST or UTEP signing list. I don't really expect an answer just wondering.

correction, looks like he ended up at UTEP, but not sure. I dont have a Scout.com membership.

Scout is still showing him as uncommited with interest in seven schools. That could mean one of three or four things.....he didn't get offers from any of the seven but may have gotten preferred walkon status; he chose to go to FCS, Division II, or JC; he has not yet qualified; he is waiting to see if an offered DE at one of those schools turns out to be a non-qualifier; or he has decided to forego college football because there were no offers.

My gut feeling is that he hasn't qualified becaause UTEP took six DEs. Two were Scout 3-star, two were 2-star, and two were 1-star. As highly as they seemed to think of him, I believe that they would have offered had he been eligible.

I read on of the scout.com forums awhile back he decided to walk on at UNM or NMSU ( sorry I get the 2 confused sometimes). He was never offered a DI offer , but really wanted to play DI so decided to walk on and prove himself rather than winding up at somewhere like a Eastern New Mexico University.

Just went back to check , he will attend New Mexico University as a walk on.. Looks like he could become a very quality walk on and hopefully can earn a ship in a few years , best of luck to him
