I'm so excited for this team right, now but I'm cautiously optimistic.  I think the coaching staff has done a great job in two years and really has this team a step-a-head of where we would normally be in this type of rebuilding process.

Normally one season after a 1-11 season, you can expect 3 wins and we came away with 5 and snuck into a bowl.

Two seasons into a rebuild you can hope to be .500, we have 9 wins, swept the division, and won every home game.

Three seasons into a rebuild and you start looking for bowl berths and bowl wins.

Even if this team doesn't win on Saturday, I know they are step-a-head of where they would be.

I also know this means it's time for us fans to step up.  We've got to support our team and show that we travel.  If you can make it the game, GO!  If you can afford to sponsor a student for $10 bucks, DO IT!  Don't have season tickets for 2018?  Put them on your Christmas list.   Records, season ticket sales, and previous bowl numbers are the key to bigger, and better bowl invites.
