What's required for a red shirt ? Does a physician or trainer need to provide a certified statement as to the injury ? Is it possible that a school with less integrity than NT could falsify such a report in order to apply for a red shirt ?

Hopefully, they can put together a volunteer band and cheerleader squad. After all, the uniforms are already paid for (?) and many of the musicians from last season are still on campus. The "granny smith apple" color is the best. They most distintive uniform in all of college football. We should bring it back.

I think having concerts would be a fun idea. But some "fans" will only come as far as they have to to see to concert. Or leave when it's over or wait until it starts and not see the game. And the notion of not letting somebody in after the third quarter seems odd. "Sorry folks. The park's closed. The Moose should have told you." And not all the students will like C & W. Some will like jazz. Some classic rock. And so on. The only thing the students have in common is that they're all students. Give them a chance to win their next semester tuition free, based on what they took "this" semester. They still have to pay fees and buy books. Just tuition. Let's suppose we had a player that was on scholarship that asked to be released from said scholarship. Part of the agreement is that the player cannot transfer to a college that is on the schedule for the next 4 years. What would happen if the college the player transfered to had an opening and invited NT to fill the hole in the schedule ? Would we have to decline ? Would that player not be able to play ? And what would happen if, with the same senerio, the released player went to a school that was on the schedule or even in the same conference ? And for whatever reason, was able to walk on the new program ? Expiring minds want to know. GO MEAN GREEN
