Hopefully it gives us another HS connection

If your talking "Game Changer" I would have to go with a QB. A QB that is truly a "game-changing, day 1-starting, rolex-wearing, transfer stud" Although, if your talking a Chase Young talent I can see where he would be hard to pass.

Charlotte 72...Western Kentucky 70

All this format is doing is insuring this conference receives only one bid. Not saying because we lost but this bonus schedule is a failure -
Agree we need to do a better job in the detaining facilities, but they were never intended for the amount of people that are coming. The organized efforts to encourage and get people here have overwhelmed they system, especially when people kept saying there were no issues. There are a number of things that need to be done. If those idiots on both sides would actually work together they could improve things quickly. And yes, Mexico helping to control the flow has helped to reduce the amount of people.

When all is said and done, it seems that uniform options are very important to a lot of young men. While I would like to have a standard, if the kids like the changes so be it.

Not so fast... If you take a look at most of the "caravans" they are heading straight to Ports of Entries. However, in large POE's before the "walls" were going up it was very common for individuals and groups to try and cross so that they could easily "hide in the crowd". The barriers are great in "out of the way" and dangerous terrain areas to help move the flow. And those areas, while not having as many "feet on the ground" do have sensors and camera systems.

Truth is, as long as Title IX is in place in in current format there will be struggles for schools to field Men's teams. I would like to see a modification to the way Football scholarships are counted. https://www.athleticscholarships.net/title-ix-college-athletics-9.htm

Just wondering, once they implement the one-time automatic eligibility rule will this change the Grad Transfer rule? Would a player be able to transfer once as an undergraduate and then again as a Grad transfer?

BEST PLAYER NOT INVITED TO THE COMBINE

I think the Saints wold be a good place for him, especially now that DB is staying another year. -
For the first part, just to understand, are you saying the wall is a waste or any effort to slow down illegal immigration is a waste? I guess your OK with the billions of tax payer dollars spent providing services to illegal immigrants? So as these evil rich people get richer they are not providing jobs for thousands and thousands of people?
-
The wall does not slow down "legal" immigration at all, in fact it actually helps the process as they are able to focus more efforts and resources on those activities. The "wall" was up and going in El Paso for years before President Trump and most of the people and politicians acting like it is the worst thing ever had little to no problems. Many of the El Paso area politicians in the past were are ceremonies support the Border Patrols efforts and the difference the wall was making. Many, many on the border region who followed the legal process are in support of the efforts to have a controlled system in place. Of course you don't see their stories on the news as much because it doesn't support the narrative How does keep people out who are in many cases paid below minimum wage make the rich richer? It also can cause wages to increase and therefore not support you "poor poorer" claim.

New transfer rules on the horizon?
El Paso Eagle replied to UNT18Grad's topic in Mean Green Football
Come to think of it this could also be a blessing for the G5 schools ... Think of how many of the top FCS teams are loaded with P5/G5 transfers who did not want to sit out. This could also greatly change the landscape of the FCS teams -
New transfer rules on the horizon?

I wonder if this will apply to FCS and lower division players moving up to G5/P5 schools? -

Great for BV, well deserved. Don't get to read his comments as much since the paper went "pay to view" I wonder if he will be accepting the award at the DD Practice field 😈

New transfer rules on the horizon?
El Paso Eagle replied to UNT18Grad's topic in Mean Green Football
Not just for UNT, but all G5, I can see P5 schools using this to fill gaps. I can see the day, when for a number of potential reasons, a school, let's say it's us, looses 8+ players in a single year. It could potentially devastate he program. I hope the NCAA will allow schools that lose players to get extra scholarships to replace them. -
New transfer rules on the horizon?

With all due respect, look at the current transfer portal and the revised red-shirt rules. The best intentions aside, this will become a cluster F
