Yes, it was a disappointing loss, and my expectations we're probably too high. Yes, I think this team overachieved. In our blowout losses, we were definitely outmatched on the offensive and defensive lines. That is where games are won and lost. So, Littrell and staff know this and will address it. We are improving and I like the direction of the university and the AD as a whole. Wren will get us winning and winning consistently. After all these years, I have faith that we'll get there in my lifetime. GO MEAN GREEN!

It's hard to know if our scheme is bad or if it's simply a lack of an effective pass rush. You could see the difference on the respective QB's. Fine was backpedaling all day while their's sat back there reading the newspaper and having a cup of coffee. I didnt think Jenkins played that badly either. Their QB had time to make pinpoint throws.

We need massive help up front on both sides of the ball.

I expect our AD or Conference bust the friggin door down and insist that our championship participants be reward with the best opponent possible rather than settling for scraps from the P5 table.

It appears that the decision was made to go to the NO Bowl before we ever played FAU in the Championship game. My question is, why could we not secure a P5 opponent when it appears one or some of our conference mates will get that opportunity. If so, that really pisses me off, as I have stated in another thread. Can someone address this scenario?

Now if one of our conference mates gets FSU in the Indy Bowl, I'm going to be pissed!

Benford destroyed my interest in NT BB and I haven't been to a game in three years. Hard to get back in the habit and I admit football has my undivided attention right now. I hope for the best for our BB team(s) and coaches McCasland and Mitchell. There's nothing I'd like more than to see us win again in and I think we will. However, my current work schedule prevents me from going to weekday games, but once football is over and the weekend is cleared out, I'll make a few Saturday games, wife permitting! GO MEAN GREEN!
