Very good idea about our spring sports and general national articles about those sports. The spring sports are often over looked by this audience. You could look at national ranking in your efforts on how the conference ranks & is faring from year to year. How about tennis news too?

San Antonio has supported utsa to the tune of 35,000 a game. Dallas didn't support us that way even when we played smuu- could of been great but smuu didn't bring any fans. McCombs had all their utsa fb games televised on the longhorn ntwk. So really they are getting more pub than NT and putting more butts in the seats.Lynn Dickey is doing a great job with the assets here in town. So my take is Harry is right, but I guess we don't need any more tv games!

"The Ticket" radio in San Antonio has been ripping bu sports teams for cheating for over a year saying that the their conference mates wouldn't squeel on them because of the mud they had on them. The reason its being let out of the bag by a go between is because they are taking bending the rules to an extreme esp. drew. They are big ut promoters.

The wku rpi is now better than ours (199)& they are playing a play in game. So..........

Heck NO- If I see rv tear up again over jj I'll lose control of my bodily functions!

Depending on the size of the party, & coordinating with some Austin ex's, its a great drive with friends once you get word out where to meet along the road (ie. 281). The hill country in the fall is beautiful & you have lots of time to just sit back & chat with people that you have a real interest with in UNT. The best thing though is there usually is very little traffic on that road, & your missing the Austin/35HW problems & police is great. Does Andy (?-is that OK?) have any brothers/sisters? Of note; out past Marble Falls its now posted 75 MPH! My Shelby horses love to run that route!

FAU- if like the FIU trip can do. Why- round trip was a little over $200. A great group of fans showed for Dan's first. We had a blast over there....so I'm watching the airlines as the year progresses to see if we regroup next fall. KSU great fans love their stadium- it has separate defensive (ie 3 & outs,sacks etc) and offensive boards- great stimulation for the team. WKU want to go to the corvet factory.

For us UNT fans down in San Antonio a question for you: does he play any spring sports so maybe we can see him play or go to his meets? East Central turns out some great athlete's. I'm glad we are going after your son. It's great to see he is such a good scholar too, by the way. You have raised a winner....join the Mean Green caravan down HW281 in the fall...it's a great drive.

Two questions- 1) can you remember the names of the 38 people that were at Fouts for the first football game you saw there, since there were only 32 people at the muts game this year in denton who out of that group was absent from that game? 2) If patterson leaves tcu do you think you will be a shoe-in as head coach since you've coached there before. Harry just do it & see if he cries!

The great jj had an exceptional coached game today- what a finish to the season with a top rated recruiting class. I have not seen better play calling this year- if one saw play calling- go greek say how great jj was this game- please I want to know!

What the other school's have that we don't is a effective AD ( especially utsa).

I like the fact that he has played multiple sports, like baseball in addition to football. So, I hope this is a home run for us and not ending up as just "foul balls"!

The woman's game is scheduled to be on the Texas channel on Time Warner cable at 2!

Harry et al, we personally saw their crowd at their first football game- scarey. Now if we are interested in cusa now looking at who they are looking at, would this move be a lateral move taking place for us if we are wanting into the conference? Their basketball crowds are less than stellar too.

Gee Kram, one of the regents told me that they decided to bring in a professional fund raising crew since they did not feel that we could do the naming rights through the athletic dept. The sad thing was the donar was right under their ath dept nose & no one thought to ask them. When was the last time you saw rv or even cooper him with a new potential big donar during a sporting event? As donars, we like to see growth. What did you see at the last football game- any growth there. Lots of people on this board do not see new faces at athletic events or new big time donars. Several donars were asked questions about the athletic dept. What was said doesn't really follow your cheerleading rant. Sorry guy.
