I really do not think the talent gap is that big of an issue, it is the lack of change and adaptation to the other teams manuevers. The players are the Pawns and the Coaches are the Chess Masters.

Do you see any Sun Belt teams in that group? No. Then they would be OOC games and we know what the results will be.

Dream schedule: Hell this year is awesome outside of the massacre in Austin and the Tire smell of Akron. We have 3 regional opponents 2 @ Home, then our cream puff conference mates. DD and RV could dream of a much better schedule for crowds and wins.

why the hell are we having trouble snapping the damn ball? Didn't Rose start the whole season last year or we just that inept at the QB/Center position??

If he does this then he wins my cry-baby and A-Hole of the year award. Guess he does not like the criticism of his horrible interceptions.

Now why did DD not use that philosophy last year when Meager could not move the ball at all, yet Phillips came in and scored TD's only to be thrown back to the bench for his comebacks. Just like playing OOC to win, I'll believe it when I see it from DD and Comp.

Please tell me RF in his infinite wisdom is not going to be doing a QB by committee. Put the best QB in for the whole game so the players can get some continuity. Please!!!!

realistically look at a 3-9 season wish another big 0-5 OOC record. Sad but true until DD and Company show us differently.

I'll believe DD and company are ready to win OOC games when he shows a winning attitude and not the bow down and kiss Mack Brown's shadow at the stadium. He did not show it last year against Tulsa, La. Tech, or LSU. He did not show it against USM, UT, and Baylor the year before. This is a trend that will continue until he proves it on the field. It is obvious the players want to win, but if the Field General and his side-kicks don't allow them to win then we are stuck.

Scary thing is Meager had 11 games last year to prove himself and look at the record, why not give Wilson or Phillips the chance. Give the team the best chance to win, not the coaches favorite.

Are we actually surprised that our AD probably did not contact the Bowl Game, judging by the crickets chirping at the new AC not much is getting done (no open fundraising, no real contact with alumni, website updated weekly rather than daily (geez doesn't UNT have a media department = Interns!!!))

I think we would fit nicely in the Southland Conference considering the how little we actually put into Athletics, we might even be able to win the conference in something other Soccer. Imagine all the trips to sunny Arlington, paradise like Natchitoches, and steamy Conway. Someone needs to right this train.

I have heard SHSU is more likely.

It is like living near the Interstate or the DART you just get so used to being passed by the noise that you tune it out after awhile. This explains the denial of many to the fact that several schools have gone zooming by good ole UNT while we sit n' spin with the status quo (i.e. No Public Fundraising, Limited Website updates, constant unwarranted contracts renewals/extensions).

well that's my point I have no problem with Harry and his updates they are awesome, but right now unless you bought a subscription late last year you do not have access right now nor can you buy-in again. I would just like to see little blurbs coming from AD, heck they never even acknowledged that a former UNT Golfer placed 10th at the British Open last weekend. Even if it is an overly positive view of practice anything would do right now until Harry and Co. allow new subscriptions.

Just curious why UNT feels that the fans should pay to read about their team, yet MTSU, ULM, ASU, FAU, Troy, and ULL all have daily postings on their websites for free. UNT has the media day and then nothing else. Why do they feel we should pay are they that worse off than the schools above? I know Harry and Illuvius give more in-depth coverage but even bare bones reports from the Athletic Department would be nice instead we get the silent treatment.
