once again the pro-DD crowd pops back out. We are UNT, just deal with it. Do not expect us to compete with MAC and CUSA conference champions nor within 30 points of a Top 25 school. Let's wallow in mediocrity. Try actually reading the posts, the angry ones are complaining that the coaches have given up on the kids before they even get on the field. The talent is there, at least we have an on-campus stadium, and the conference is what it is, but why move if can not even dominate the conference in most sports. Put down the kool-aid guys and look at the whole 9 year and not 2 really good years from the same recruiting class.

Sowhat was thew Spring for then, he had all 3 QB's in Spring Ball, plus he should ahve already known what Meager and Phillips bring to the table. Someone needs to buy DD/RF a TV and VCR so they can actually watch game film from last year. Also i refuse to admit that Tulsa is a better team than we are. UT we were outmanned but no other team should get that distinction.

I still do not buy the whole Brutal Non-Conference schedule crap. This is a dream OOC year, but oh wait even though Akron and Tulsa are no where close to the same team as last year, they were Champs. Do you really think being 4x Champ caused other coaches to think we were unbeatable? Noway, inf act they probably circled the game to be statement game. We seem to turtle in these games afraid to compete against Conference Champions. We should have finished OOC 3-2 no questions asked, now I wonder if SMU was a fluke and La. Tech will only expose the coaching staff even more.

RV is already on the right path with the hiring/extension of Hedlund, and the hiring of Lama, although the previous coach left the cupboard bare and he did not have time to recruit. Now if we can get rid of the slackers: DD, JJ, Slinker, and Headrick and hire so coaches who love being on the hot seat and want to win every week and show it ever game!!.

It would take alot of work to win by 7.5 pts our offense has been offensive this year. They picked it up late in Akron but still stalled out the 2 times they got inside the 10 in the 4Q. This will be an ugly game just like last year, predict a close UNT win or a MUTS blow-out with our soft zone and pourous O-Line.

The center should not have been an issue, we had the starter returning from last year, of course it all leads back to some poor recruiting the last few years after we did not replace the super stars from the 2002-2004 teams.

Thanks, I think I saw somewhere Sara has bad shin splints or similar. Hopefully the coach can pick up a couple of players at the semester. The team is good but they need a couple top line players. At least there are 2 very good coaches to help out. Too bad about Ina, she could have really helped.

Just curious how these four games were tough Non-conference? This is the dream OOC games we have wanted for years and now it is tough? Who would you rather play? UT, Colorado, Arkansas, Air Force or what we have this year + La. Tech. No brainer and we just made it look brutal with the results. Hopefully we get the 3 LB's back but what we have right now is some hope on the defensive side and lots of underutilized talent on the offenseive side.

so juding by some of the theories here, we are better off playing, San Jose State, Idaho, Buffalo, E Michigan, and Utah state becaue we would be favord to win those. Geez this is college footbal and upsets do happen everywhere but at UNT apparently. We upset SMU then forgot what we did to win. SMU took their ass-kicking and blew out Arky state. Do you think DD and RF are smart enough to scout that tape so we can beat ASU?? It is a joke to think we should not win any game we are not favored in. Guess we can expect maybe 1-2 more wins these year because we will not be the favorite in 75% of our remaining games. Maybe MTSU and ASU and that is it. Raise the expectations a little bit and not be satisfied with New Orleans or bust, whether it is with DD or someone else.

How about USF, they are now BCS and beat a Top 15 Louisville team last year and they have been around I believe 6 years.

The UNT is very nice compared to many. Better than SMU, UTA for sure. TCU has a public facility. In Waco your probably thinking of Waco Regional Tennis Center, which only has H.S. tournaments not a high scholl team. You can be pissed about Football, but the tennis Facility is very nice and much better than H.S. facilities. The center coutrt would be nice but don't bag on it so much. Check out other facilities, look at SHSU, SFA, UALR, Ark State, ULL, La. Tech, Lamar and UNT beats them all.

No I think you have the mediocrity expectations down correctly for all of us. Lets just settle for winning the Sun Belt b/c that is what DD does best. Screw the rest of games becaue UNT does not need national respect, because we are UNT and prefer to remain hidden from the world even though we are the 4th largest University in Texas. Yeah great expectation there. guess you love DD's stealth recruiting and poor gameplanning also.
