As great as Josh is, we'll only be as good as the W's in the block allow us to be. Keith dominating the middle and Quincy grabbing the boards are body shot to the opposition. If only we hadn't had foul trouble in the 1st half it coulda been a different game. But yeah....Josh White is the real deal. And we have him for 3 more years....

The basic RPI formula is 25% your winning percentage + 50% opponents' average winning percentage + 25% opponents' opponents' winning percentage. I'm not sure the algorithm they use to come up with power rankings.

I don't know how anyone can dog on Wooden so far. As great as Josh, Collin, Tristan, and any of our other perimter guys are - Keith is our engine as far as I'm concerned. We'll only go far if he's humming. Look how much better we were in the 2nd half tonight.

Our RPI improved tonight. It's somewhat inexact right now(and is even at the end of season truth be told), but we're #13(up two spots from earlier in the day) in the country right now according to it.

I think it's too early to say. I'd take last year's team at this point. By the end of the season, maybe not.

As good as I think we can be...no way do I suggest anyone go out on that kind of limb.

They beat UCLA in Pauley Pavillion dude. Seriously...I hate the Horns too, but seriously. You don't just walk into the House Wooden built and waltz out with a victory unless you're better than "good".

After the opening 5 minutes we basically played them evenly. Still, that's what your top 10 type of squads do to you. Great effort by the guys. Alot of "what if's".

We had it down to 9 with the ball and had an errant pass. That hurt. Still within striking distance however.

Even considering the first 5 minutes, we had acouple of stretches where I felt we were a play away from making it back to be in the contest. We were down 15 at one point and looked to be on a fast break, but their center(I think) got a hand on the ball and tied us up - which they got on the arrow. A few other moments here or there and it coulda been a 10-12 point game, and not so grim.

I was right...UT has slowed down. But we also keep turning it over, so we've just kept falling further behind.

Texas hit 7 of 8. They won't keep that pace. More worrisome is 6 turnovers already.

I definitely think all conferences would need to be included - otherwise I'm against a playoff. But i don't think all leagues need to have a title game. How are you going to seperate a league like the SBC into 2 divisions? Not every conference has 12. Hell not every league even has as many as ten.
