The way Coach Jones told the story on air last night: there were all sorts of schools were keeping tabs on him(even the Florida Gators!) - but most of the others had him as a backup plan. Like "let's see what happens with this taller kid" etc.. Meanwhile Jones recruited him hard and we got him.

I could write something up...but I'm sure Censored will be far more thorough....so I'll just let him.

He also profusely thanked everyone who showed up and all the support the team gets(which was classy considering the squad doesn't get the support it deserves). Coach Slinker also thanked the folks that came out as well. It was a great show...looking forward to the next few games.

Broadcast cleared up after the first 15 minutes of Coach Slinker's show and had no isues during Jones's. Nice show I thought. Coach Jones was really positive I thought. I especially liked when he corrected Hank's question of "How did Josh White slip thru the cracks to come here" to which JJ replied "He didn't slip thru the cracks, he came to a special place".

Yes, the place had fallen into disrepair - but I do find it a damn shame that the Orange Bowl is being torn down. I wish they could've saved it. Other old pits have been renovated to glory - too bad they couldn't do it with the Horseshoe in little Havana.

It wasn't a "tournament" with "rounds" like most holiday events. Just a round robin type of deal. More like the Wooden classic out here.

I listened to alot of the game while watching the football games. Girls got in a 16 point hole and was down 10+ most of the 2nd half. They made a nice charge, but it was just too tough to make up that difference.

How could they possibly be looking ahead? It basically amounted to a conference title game.

Pac-10 also recognizes co-championships(Cal is recognized as Pac-10 champs from last year with USC even tho they lost head to head). Other leagues might as well. EDIT: VideoEagle confirmed my post.
