  1. Win our bowl game. Ten bowl games, 3 wins. Win our bowl game.
  2. Two of those three are not usually very good. It probably comes down to more immediate playing time.
  3. We won't flip FAU and ODU. The conference only did that a couple of years ago because UAB was dropping football.... then not. I was easier (and lazy) to just keep the schedule and flip the sites when UAB decided to come back. My guess is that we get Charlotte and FIU... one here and one there.
  4. There is no way a P5 was going to agree to play us, yet. We need to win several more years first. If there is any chance we could win in a down year for them, they wouldn't chance it. Losing to Southern Miss would be bad for them, but not a complete disaster. Losing to us would be just that to a P5. No way Florida State would agree and they have waaaay more pull than we do.
  5. Shouldn't you win your conference to be included? Or at least your half of your conference?
  6. Too cool. Just keep winning. And I would love to add TCU to the list of teams we crushed this year.
  7. Nothing is a done deal yet. Winner Saturday gets their choice of CUSA bowls or any other invite. Loser gets second choice. After that, CUSA and ESPN take over.
  8. It is also very easy to block people that you find annoying. I've done that and this board became an enjoyable place again. Too bad I can't do that at work too.
  9. O/U is 58 Spread is 2.5 Ill say Army 27.75 NT 30.25
  10. The crowd of 26108 was the 7th largest home crowd in UNT history. It was also the 5th largest in Denton, the 3rd largest in Apogee, and the 3rd largest crowd to see us win a home game. We are seeing an average crowd of 21,556 and that would be the largest average attendance in our history , passing the 21030 we drew in 2013. With a crowd of 12,218 on Saturday, we will average 20,000 for the season for the second time ever and the second time in the last 5 years. Coach Littrell moved into 12th all time in wins passing Coach Moore and Coach Parker. He is currently 7th in win percentage at UNT.
  11. In that case, he was NEVER really a fan. I hope he goes away and stays away. He's a Negative Nancy.
  12. IF UTEP, Rice, and Charlotte continue down their current path: North Texas needs to beat 2 of Old Dominion, UTEP, Rice – 6 wins UAB beats two of Charlotte, Rice UTEP – 6 wins Southern Miss beats Rice, Charlotte – 5 wins (Need one of La Tech, UAB, Marshall) La Tech beats Rice, UTEP – 5 wins (Needs one of NT, FAU, UTSA) UTSA beats Rice, UTEP – 5 wins (Needs one of FIU, UAB, La Tech, Marshall) Marshall already at 5 wins FAU beats Charlotte – 4 wins (Needs 2 of NT, WK, Marshall, La Tech, FIU) Western Kentucky beats Old Dominion – 5 wins (Needs one of FAU, Middle, FIU) Middle Tennessee beats UTEP, Charlotte, Old Dominion – 6 wins Is there a chance a 6 win C-USA team stays home?
  13. I guy with a computer......and internet access, which is all you need, right?
  14. 15. We were. Between coaches Mitchell, Rust, and Fry, we were 192-129-13 (.594). That covers 33 years.
  16. 1. South Florida 2. Navy 3. San Diego State 4. Central Florida 5. Houston 6. Toledo 7. UTSA 8. Troy 9. SMU 10. Memphis 11. Western Michigan 12. Ohio 13. Army 14. Appalachian State 15. 17. Somebody correct me if I am wrong, but I think the last time we were 3-2 after 5 games was 1994. We had wins over Abilene Christian, Southwest Missouri, and Southwest Texas State. Maybe that is why this feels pretty good today? The last time we were 3-2 and NOT in I-AA was 1980 with Jerry Moore as HC and wins over UTA, UTEP, and Southwestern Louisiana.
  18. Not to be picky, but I too would prefer not to replay an opponent. That being said, I would gladly go to Cowtown.
  19. With the win on Saturday, Coach Littrell moves past Coach Dodge into 14th place in all time wins at NT. If we get to bowl eligibility, he will move into a tie with Coach Moore and Coach Parker at 11 all time wins for the program. With just 115 more wins, he will catch Coach Mitchell.
  20. 4 future opponents on that list. We will have to earn it to get back to a bowl.
  21. Every time I see a fledgling account after a game, my "ignore" list continues to grow.
  22. I thought it was hard to read the numbers. I vote no.
  23. Nic Smith 100+ yards best Frosh since Jamario Drop the mic Walk off the stage
  24. How about my adopted player #21 Nic Smith? First Freshman to rush for 100 yards since Jamario in 2007.
