I cannot agree with this more. If you're in a position of power (media) and you have a differing opinion from a large group of united people, in order to make their entire movement sound ridiculous, you find the small group of idiots in their group and blow them up to make them represent the entirety of the group (Hello, Bill O'Riley & Bill Maher). There's no doubt that the Tea Party has some good points if you look beyond the idiots that are brought to the forefront... same goes for the occupiers. Our government and our economy are set up to be the best in the world. The problem is... our government officials cannot be trusted, and our economy is built on squeezing every last cent possible in profits for shareholders and lowest prices for consumers... this, to the detriment of US jobs and product quality. It's a broken system. It needs to be fixed. Different people have different ideas on how to fix it. Are some of them crazy? Sure. Are they ALL crazy? No.

Oh, so you're saying that FAU is a heavy favorite to win the conference with some fantastic all-conference experience returning, only they will meddle in conference and only win half of their games, get a crap seed in the tournament, turn it on, beat some great teams on their way to the championship game, only to lose in the waning moments to a team that was picked to finish in the middle of the pack and has a bona-fide game-changer to hit a clutch shot? I see where you're going here... and I like it!

Just pray that Thompson comes back healthy for the Troy game and he does not go out again. We already know McNulty will not be winning any games for us this year when he is playing QB.

my subjective answer: "We have a good shot to win the SBC" my quantifiable answer: "We have a 20% chance to win the SBC. We have a 40% chance to win the west." Compare that to the other teams in the belt... The only team I would put ahead of UNT's chances to win the belt is FAU. S. AL will be good as well. AR St. will still be good without Adams and ULL will be good. Denver will obviously be good at home, and W. KY will be good as usual.

Hope for the team to jel during the pre-conference schedule, then wait for the cavalry to ride in on Dec. 18. Beat the conference teams that we should beat and win a few that we shouldn't, then watch the Mean Green climb up this list.

I could not agree more, but the air-tight argument that he's not practicing well leaves a shadow of a doubt... We'll never really know unless he's in the game though.
