  1. I’m not sure. I usually watch the games and stream the pregame/postgame on the App. Our guys usually do a more thorough job than the tv guys.
  2. The varsity app has the radio broadcast on demand. Hodge usually has a postgame chat with Hank and Dave. It’s worth a listen.
  3. Welcome to GMG.com! Some of our games are on TV, but most of our games are usually on ESPN+. If a game is on TV, it’s usually on ESPN2 or ESPNU. That’s how it was for us this past season and I’m thinking probably next season, too. You would need to create an account with ESPN+ to watch the games. You can usually bundle some packages that also include Hulu and Disney+. Once the season is over, you can cancel the subscription. I keep it for basketball season and the TBT tournament. Hope this helps.
  4. I know the feeling…but not tonight!!
  5. I get what you’re saying, but we’re not Texas, or A&M. We don’t pay our coaches like the bigger programs and we don’t have an NIL like the bigger programs. We can have high expectations and be realistic, too. From the Reese article, our coaches are expecting 8-12 wins. For year two of EM, this sounds great to me. If he rolls out 5 wins again, that would be an incredible failure. Even with 5 wins, can we afford to let him go? We just don’t have those deep pockets, yet. This should be an exciting offseason. I’m looking forward to it.
  6. It’s kind of like when GMac took over. He told the team, “We’re here to win championships.” Some players laughed and they were no longer with the team. Gotta speak it and believe it to achieve it. I’m good with it.
  7. If the staff/players believe 8 wins is the floor, I’m here for it! This upcoming season will be EM’s team. Looking forward to a great season!
  8. Classes start in January and then again in March. Not sure if it would be quite the recruiting advantage I initially believed it to be.
  9. I didn’t realize the entire state followed the same system. Thanks.
  10. 30 days to find another place is wild to me. Even with late enrollment, they’re pretty much stuck. Right? LaTech has a weird calendar. Anyone else use a similar one? Would those schools be potential landing spots for these players?
  11. He does some incredible work for us. He’s worth a follow. The Jason Edwards pic could be a Nike Ad. Great stuff!
  12. I’m assuming, but I’m not entirely sure. He tagged Gary.
  13. Feels like the heavy lifting was done the first few days of the portal opening. Yes, the d line needs some help, but thinking about the amount of missed tackles at/near the LOS was a huge reason our defense was so bad. If our TP guys can consistently make the routine plays, this defense will be better.
  14. Lampkins and Kernal have to be considered for All AAC teams.
  15. I don’t think he’s going to need to play hero ball. The o line beefed up, we potentially bettered our RB room, and we brought in some talented receivers This offense may not have a 1K receiver, but I don’t think it needs just one person to be the guy. Rogers/Maclin attributed their early success to Summer workouts. CM will be here for those. I have a bit more hope for the defense than the majority of our fellow GMG members. I don’t think we’re going to pitch shut outs, but I believe we’ll be improved.
  16. They were down 19 midway through the 3rd. Robinson came up big to start the 4th. Kernal had some big plays to tie and to seal the game. Fun game! Great win, ladies!
  17. Ross said in the pregame that they were both (Jones and Buggs) looking good, but not ready to practice with the team. Silver lining is the confidence Noland, Edwards, Allen, and Stone/Moore seem to be gaining. When we’re full strength this team will be a team to reckon with!
