I’m not so quick to call Morris a bad hire. He cleaned house after this past season, but it probably should have been when he took the job. This year is his guys. Let’s see what this year brings. I’m a bit more optimistic.

Despite not playing a good game, we still had a great chance to win it at the end. Hopefully this team gets some type of postseason tournament. They’re too good to end the season this way.

Good question: Tulsa might be the best date. SFA would is likely Family Night.

What could have been in conference play had it not been for injuries and foul trouble. If we can keep them on the court, I think we have a shot to make some noise this week.

Not sure what it was, but he was moving differently the last 4 mins. He finished the game, so that’s a positive. Next game is Thursday. Rest up, heal up, win!

At the first football game a couple of years ago it worked. It was set at a low angle and it was highly pressurized ( or something). The shirts fired out like rockets! It legit could have hurt someone (like a bruise, not decapitated). After every shot, you could hear the whoosh of the shot and the gasps from the crowd. The rest of the season, I would brace myself, but it never happened again. I still laugh about it every so often. 😂

I have no conflicting thoughts at all. Hodge put together a really good team that competed/beat pretty much every team we played. Injuries to our veteran PG really hurt. His game management will only improve. We still have the AAC Tourney. GMG!

I saw somewhere that Rubin and Allen elected to not go through senior night ceremonies. It would have been a Hodge post game question.

FAU played better. Wonder what the game looks like with Rondel playing? We had our chances, but couldn’t make a bucket those last 4 mins. Thought we could have taken advantage of Scott’s size a bit more. Maybe in the AAC tournament? Foul trouble really bit us today.

What would we need to do to get into the NIT? Or are we NCAA or bust via the AAC Tourney?

Looks like they’re predicting FAU to get the NCAA Bid. Is that how you all read it?

40+ new faces and a suspect defense drops us to 10 in this poll. I think we end up higher by seasons end, but it’s hard to argue at this point.

In 2001-2005, iirc, Wednesday wasn’t guaranteed either.

And USF did it, too. Definitely not the norm, but wild it happened twice this season in the same conference

If we don’t win the conference tourney, we could still get an at large, right? Either NIT or the NCAA.

Loved watching the team celebrate! Such a great season….and they’re not done yet!
