Very very true, these past 2 games were way better discipline wise. Pirtle is a great leader for the program, just some miscuses and ridiculous calls. DBs, even if not targeted as much, played well and didn’t hold as much.

And playing a team like this is definitely a confidence booster. Let’s face it, that Southern Miss team was one of the worst teams NT has played in a very long time. BUT we beat them how we should be, and now we go into homecoming against an overrated UTEP team with a lot more confidence than usual.

Looks like the 2017 championship game … and the 2019 championship game Both of those games had sky cams and CBS stopped using it because the crowd was so small. If NT ever got into the conference championship game, it would be packed beyond capacity.

It was definitely a disappointing season. The A&M game had me very hyped for what could come during the season, but injuries shot down some big opportunities, as well as just not finishing. Southern Miss, Rice and OU come to mind where we couldn’t convert with so many chances and shots on goal. Just barely missing, but barely costed us several wins this year. Now without 3 of your best players in Olivia Klein, Brooke Lampe and Sarah Fuller next season, I’m intrigued to see how Hedlund goes into the portal and grabs some talent, as well as develops the younger girls in the program.

By that logic, we should have a baseball team by now😉
