  1. As a guy that lived in Traditions, I cry every time.
  2. I'm just gonna say I feel vindicated from last year calling for Earle to play more (mostly because I had watched his film from ACU). We'll see how all this pans out. Still haven't seen the team play under Morris. And I think some (not all, Aune was still a bad decision machine) of the QB trouble for the past few years is receivers coaching, which Morris should be able to help with.
  3. That's a bad bad man right there. Gunning it into a tight spot like that reminds me a lot of Fine.
  4. If I'm not mistaken, Head was injured in the spring game? Not sure of his status now.
  5. Lot of yall sleeping on Tulsa. That Braylon Braxton is a huge threat at QB. At best most of these games are toss ups. At worst, 1st year coach and a new program. I'm impressed with the way Morris talks, but that's really all we have to go on right now. I accidentally clicked 8 in the poll, but if we can get a 6 win regular season and a bowl birth, I think that's a successful first year.
  6. That's fine, sounds like a good financial move. But would we be locked in to only playing in our division during the regular season? 9 games for each division would mean no crossover, right? So no SMUt game, and that's always my favorite game on the calendar.
  7. My biggest issue with this is that we wouldn't have a guaranteed SMUt game each year I'm assuming (which is probably exactly what they want)? At this point, level of competition is in our favor if it gets split like this I think? A 20 team conference is kinda massive and I don't know if it would be a good move or not.
  8. There is a BIG difference between sportscasters getting the name wrong hurting brand recognition and selling retro shirts with a kickass logo.
  9. So...any updates on how the scrimmage went. I need some more info on the QB race.
  10. If he's named starter fine, but we have nothing to go off of. That also doesn't bother me. What bothers me is how he played when he started. You could see what SL saw when he played, but you also saw inexperience. You saw a statue in the pocket. Maybe that's better. But I'm hanging my hat on the guy with the starting QB name. STONE EARLE (I actually think it's gonna be Rogers) Whoever it is, the success of the season does hang in the balance. I hope we don't do musical QB chairs chasing succuess like we did under SL. Pick the guy and stick with em through the season.
  11. I know I have those green blinders on, but Mason looked way more confident. Probably because he'd been practicing with the 1s. Can't wait for next week...this week...whatever.
  12. A dub is a dub. Need to find a way to rewatch. Forgot the game was today.
  13. For what we paid for it, it better have AC
  14. That's a line of text. I expect there are some complex emotions there for both parties.
  15. I hope the FAU players are prepared to be kissed.
  16. We already did when we moved to the AAC. Firing SL helped too.
  17. You wanna know who Mason Fine is as player? Watch this.
  18. Hard to say. He's got an arm, which is evident from film from high school, college to now. It's not just the arm. It's accuracy and working with the 1 receivers. I have no comparison because I don't follow cad football and don't know how good Harris' arm is. But what I can say, watching Mason for 4 years as a starter, he's got the ability. Like anything in life, you need the practice to make it consistent. As a 2nd, that is hard. All that said, if Saskatchewan doesn't roll with Fine moving forward, they ain't too bright.
  19. Watching the post game interview...sounds like Trevor ain't gonna play soon. I hope Mason's the guy. If so, will be watching Canadian Football.
