My only concern ( which is pretty minor) is that this will be the 1st basketball event at the facility. So far they’ve held soccer , track & field & concerts here. So any little kinks may not be worked out till a game or 2 into the tournament. Jerry Jones was very particular with absolutely everything from the hall ways to pictures on the wall so I would shocked if the event doesn’t run smoothly. This would open up the possibility for more basketball related events to be held there. Holds 12,000 seats for a football event so I’m assuming add a few hundred to that (?) for the seats that will be placed behind the benches

I got a tour of the place yesterday. Facility is top notch. Great choice by Conference USA

Thoughts on NO Bowl : reading between the lines it seems WB has already agreeded in principle IF we were to lose to accept invite.. I’m fine with that.. altough some could argue that’s a loser mentality, I feel it’s more about security.. We are guaranteed a bowl , but if we sat on hopes on just winning today & having our choice we could be stuck in some awful sounding bowl like the Gasparilla in Florida .. the further we have to travel , the less fans that would be about to make it ..now IF we are to win today , we deserve something better.. a C-USA champion deserves a better bowl , better opponent I really don’t mind NO Bowl.. we could do a lot of pros & cons & I could understand both sides with both arguments having valid points.. I personally like it because it’s a winnable game , comes on a weekend & is very doable trip for a lot of fans. We would have a good crowd for TV. My 1st preference has always been Independence Bowl , but I’ll be cool with another trip to New Orleans

Trevor Moore was in tremendous pain vs ODU. Looked like maybe hamstring.. main reason he missed the FG.. hopefully it gets fully healed ASAP

Not feeling great about this game. Wilson doesn't look anywhere near 100% , we've given up 107 points last 8 quarters , 1-6 last 7 road games , La Tech desperately needs a win . LT 35 UNT 30 We beat both both RIce & UTEP.. La Tech takes a loss vs FAU giving them 3 conference losses & we take the west via tiebreaker

There will definitely be some trading going on... i hoping maybe if Air Force can get to 6 that they could land in AF Bowl via trade w/ Army .. a UNT-Air Force game in Ft Worth would be a huge draw

All these major publications put Projections out strictly for click bait. Willing to bet they spend about 30 seconds on what bowl each G5 eligible team lands end Something to keep in mind here.. there will not be any 5 win teams getting in this year & we could possibly have more 6 win teams than bowl slots. Getting to 7 wins is crucial they won't put us the AF bowl because of Army .. HOD is no longer a C-USA bowl ... I'm guessing we wind up in N.O Bowl ... I really , really hope we can sneak into the Independence Bowl.. it has a great history & we could possibly face a p5 school
