    Surely the Southern Miss contingent will be out, which means Batchelder and Adams are out. Anyone that was hired by RV should be out, so that means Capper, Nitardy, Hobbs, Sheffield, and Nagel are out. If they have been in the AD for over 20 years and haven't been hired away, then there is probably a reason for that. Sorry, but Dickenson and Ashbaugh have to go. That only leaves Patty Wells in terms of RV direct reports. Sorry Patty, you are also out.

    If we are going to go with someone who has uTexas ties, let's go with: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mack_Brown I think he would easily raise 10mm+ per year. Whatever you had to pay him would be worth it. Instant credibility in the state and nationally. Single hire puts you immediately on the same level as programs like UH and puts you in every conference conversation. What would it take? $1mm? More?

    No doubt. It is time for sweeping changes. Each of RV's direct reports need to be told to seek other employment. Complacency has infiltrated the department. Do not take any chances. Take the opportunity to clean house.

    I think people over estimate the amount of influence a broken down program like smoo has over the conference mates.

    Glad to see we are using both UNT and North Texas. We should throw a couple out there as NTSU just to cover all the bases. If we offer under all three names can we count them as a multi offer recruit?

    We still need inside receivers. Maybe we are planning to fill one IWR with a smaller faster type and one IWR with a bigger stronger type.

    smoo is beating out Air Force, ut-sa, and SFA for recruits. Good to see all their hard work starting to pay off.

    A lot of those defenders that quit on their coaches last year are no longer here and hopefully many of those that are still here will lose their spot to a more capable player. An unfortunate combination of having a team lay down against a capable FCS team, as demonstrated by their win over a P5 bowl team in the same year.

    You can't un-see some things. I don't think we want to share any of the awful numbers associated with the current state of the program. If we did, we might get kicked out of our current conference and we sure as heck would look like a joke. Better to probably be a joke but keep them guessing rather than prove we are a joke.
