I would be thrilled with both. People around here are more familiar with Meacham, but Littrell is very impressive as well. I'm not sure who I prefer of the two, honestly.

Canales and this offense have really been disappointing. To not score an offensive touchdown against a below average UTEP team is all you need to know. They had nothing to lose and still weren't creative or letting it all hang out.

He has talent, but he needs a lot of work. Hopefully the new coach can improve him. If Meacham is the guy, Boykin vastly improved when he and Cumbie joined the TCU staff. If not, maybe they can bring in a decent QB in the remaining recruitment time.

He definitely launched himself, an iffy call really, but thems the rules. His behavior was embarrassing.

Like I said, we don't know the reasoning behind it. I wouldn't do it, but I think you will find that fans and athletes have a different viewpoint about this sorta stuff. You may not like it and that's fine, but this is whole thing is way overblown.

Why on earth would he take a pay raise, his first head coaching gig - at a place with things in place to be successful - a mere 30 miles down 35W? Gee, I wonder? For all the same reasons people have stated as to why Willie Fritz probably wouldn't come here. Despite the pay raise, which their current schools would try to match, it's seemingly a lateral move. They are closer to getting P5 offers where they are, instead of coming here and rebuilding. This is only one way of looking at it, though. Who knows what each guy would think or how much we could pay them. That's why I said probably not.

He's been mentioned a ton. Would love to have him. Is it likely he would come here? Probably not.

I would so be on board with this. Good offensive coach, Texas ties, successful at La Tech, has seemed to have turned Cal around considering their situation and restrictions. Seems to be able to recruit, especially at QB. Somebody send our clueless AD this link.
