I don't really care who we play at home, I'm there to cheer on the Mean Green. Would I like to see some bigger schools, of course. Last year I was much happier walking out of the Super Pit after the Jackson State game than I was the Lehigh (a so-called name team)game... winning makes me happy. Not supporting this year's team really proves nothing. Everyone of these players had a choice of what school to attend and they chose North Texas so I think they deserve me and my families full support which we are proud to give. But wait.. according to some beating a team like Idaho won't matter... we need to beat a bigger opponent. Its amazing how much positive talk there has been this week. As I have referenced many times before wins is what matters for this program at this point. Who gives a flip if its against Texas Southern, Idaho, you name it. Wins create excitement ( I will now make my usual "follow Kansas State's plan" statement).

I don't know how many students get on GMG.com but if you or any one you know was there and sat on the student side you are deserving of a hell of a lot of praise and I applaude you and thank you. I was very impressed with every single person that sat on that side.

Dallas Cowboy/Houston Texan cheerleaders (doesn't really fit but always thinking about) 8. How many beers can I drink before the end of the 3rd quarter 9. Will my beers i left in the cooler still be cold after the game 10. MOST IMPORTANTLY HOW GOOD ITS GOING TO FEEL AFTER A NORTH TEXAS VICTORY!

Yeah I agree.. I don't think its quite ready to go live but I saw it out there so at least we have a link to monitor.

All I have to say is these tickets better only be one shade of green or that ticket office is going to feel my wrath.

This athletic department has a lot of nerve using two different shades of green on these throwbacks. I mean why do anything if your going to upset these so-called fans on GMG.com. I like the nice crisp clean jersey. The helmet looks kick a$$ as well. Thank you to our athletic department for doing this and I APPRECIATE your efforts and more importantly lets ensure these uniforms retire undefeated!

Come on guys... we all know open practice and providing details about your team = a happier and potentially bigger fan base. Speaking from experience look how Bill Snyder grew the Kansas State fan base. (for those who don't get the sarcasm during K-State practice roads and the airspace around the practice facility are closed and take a peek at a Bill Snyder press conference before a game)

First off welcome to the North Texas family we are glad you came. Regardless of what you read on here you can rest assured your son will be coached and mentored by a hell of a good group of guys. I look forward to each of your sons further proving this so called star rating system doesn't mean anything (I would like to use another word). I personally have no feeling what so ever to a recruit until he signs his name on the dotted line. Then and only then does it really matter. If he chooses to join my team i'm 100% in to supporting him.. if he doesn't then i'm not going to waste any energy wishing him good luck or wishing failure.. he doesn't matter any longer. I will be there Wednesday night supporting the players that did choose to sign their name and commit to helping the team I cheer for.

This is clearly RV's, the entire athletic department, Coach Benford and their tutors fault... no way should we blame these poor innocent kids.

It doesn't matter if we are in the Big East, CUSA, MWC or Sun Belt... when the "new" BCS comes into effect only one team from any of those conferences gets into one of the big games. It all boils down to wins....win the games on your schedule and see how it plays out. The selfish part of me hopes whatever conference we are in we have teams close to us.. the potential for increased attendance and reasonable away game trips.

This season is clearly over already. Please someone start the returning players and newcomers we have for 2013... i'll handle researching Benford's resume to ensure he really did get a degree where he said he did.... We've had one freakin home game (no conference games).. lets tap the breaks on how this season pans out. I can't wait till next Wednesday when we get in the flow of having games and enjoying the confines of the Super Pit and more importantly the "pops" in the Mean Green room beforehand.

Dang it! I would have held an event at the sametime in the parking lot if I would have known this....I kid, I kid.. In listening to Mike talk during the off season events he has me excited to watch his brand of basketball.
