Yeah you’re right because those 20,000 empty seats at Apogee are getting a lot of value and those 5,000 empty seats at the Super Pit are to. Giving kids under 18 free tickets doesn’t devalue anything

A kid (or his/her parent)under the age of 18 should not have to pay a dime to attend any UNT sporting event.

I haven’t posted in along time but I’m going to put this right here. My family is also a long time K-State season ticket holder and Manhattan is my hometown. Anyone who knows me knows my story... we adopted North Texas when Apogee opened and love North Texas. I’ll tell you right now this is true and wouldn’t be surprised if things materialize quickly Seth Littrell's agent has been in Manhattan twice recently in the last few weeks, including within the last 7 days.

No way should current season ticket holders be asked to pay more for their same seats. Tickets prices as a whole in areas of our stadium that aren’t typical (if ever) occupied should have a lower price point. We need butts in the stands regardless of price paid. These said butts will spend money on concessions and maybe even apparel. More importantly our players and potential recruits want to see fans.

At this point in our program kids 8th grade and younger should always be free. Start them young...$$$ spent on concessions and apparel.

Anyone heard anything about them this year? We have enjoyed them the last few years. I know I could ask John but wanted to check here for the heck of it. Thanks for any insight

He was a lead assistant for Bill Self at Kansas for 10 years so I'm sure he may have a few Texas HS contacts and more importantly now days, AAU contacts.

The FGCU coach, who made a base salary of about $235,000 this season and has a buyout of only about $150,000 on a contract with two years remaining. As to what we have to offer...who knows...but I believe he should be the #1 guy we contact.

Agree with setting up at local high schools. I like most people don't want to be force feed something but a table sat up offering a free ticket to anyone who provides basic information (name, email address, up to them if they fill in address and/or phone number). #Trynewthingstogetbuttsinseats

Was there any??? What a perfect opportunity to (A) Hand out FREE (yes free) vouchers redeemable for one ticket to game for every single person (including kids, which I think is most important) who walked through that gate or (B) at the very least have a table for those interested to provide some basic information and personally hand them a voucher for a FREE ticket to come back. New Athletic Director - seize every opportunity to market your program. A few (yes, I mean hundreds if not more) free vouchers to get people into our stadium won't hurt our program or bottom line at this point in the process.

So...who actually got the invites? Club seat holder, season ticket holder, fairly decent Mean Green Club rank and I have to find out about this on here. It's not an issue of if I would attend or not but more of an issue of communication (yes they have my correct email on file). Great idea and glad they are providing this open forum.
