RV needs to convince kids to delay going home for Thanksgiving until after the game. If there ever was a time for student promotion on campus, it is NOW.

Does anyone know if the shuttle will be continued for the UTSA game? It seemed a success Saturday. The 6:15 bus that I was on was almost full and we can assume that the 7:00 one was as well. I overheard some people say they had come from the DART Walnut Hill station and transferred to the ATRAIN at Trinity Mills and would not have come if they had had to fight I-35. Our driver was very helpful and had a great sense of humor. He also said that the enthusiasm and ridership had grown a lot since the Middle game. This thing is not only a great convenience, but helps attendance as well. Lets keep it going.

The wing was the fullest I have seen it since our first game at Apogee. 26K sounds about right to me.

The campus has improve exponentially every time streets have been eliminated inside the campus and replaced with walkways, bike paths and landscaping. The next step should be Maple St in front of Kerr, Maple and Clark Halls.

I'm not going to complain about the new Scrappy because he is pretty cool at that. The Scrappy from the fifties and sixties was a true icon, however, and will return some day, just wait and see.

...and, after watching Baylor put it OU tonight, I'll back the black at that.

For some reason I always thought that Betty, Veronica, Archie, Jughead, Reggie etc. lived in Iowa. It just seemed like the kind of place they would live. I used to travel there a lot. Nice place with very nice people. I'm afraid I've outgrown Riverdale however.

Very good point, Rick. I have said it before and I will say it again, we are not, nor have we ever been a commuter school. Do commuters go here? Of course- as they do at most schools, but as long as I can remember our dorms have been full and we are almost constantly building new ones, Commuter school, indeed. It is time that rank old canard was put to rest.

Me too. Green and white are our school colors you know, and have been for for well over a century. We cannot have tradition without MAINTAINING tradition. Black was great for Halloween but since our helmets have never had a tradition, I agree that it is past time for the SOW.

Speaking of the band, I know I have been critical of their selections, (as have others)but I do believe there is not a finer or more talented marching band anywhere. The Green Brigade was just great Thursday night. Loved the costumes and the way they got everyone into the spirit of the evening.

This is great, great , great and the potential is unlimited. Keep pushing this thing and I guarantee you our attendance will rise. I wonder, Harry, if we can catch the shuttle on the square as well as at the station?

Im' going 28,000 without metropolitan area promotion. A billboard here or there, an ad or two in the DMN, a few short spots on radio and TV along with awareness promos for the ATrain and we add two or three thousand.

I have seen the Model T at games, but I haven't seen it actually run for awhile. I heard somewhere that it now had an electric engine, but I don't know that for sure.

Lizard Style has not been heard of lately, but I have a feeling we have not heard the last of Liz.

I was just thinking, what about a little spoon feeding about Homecoming weekend? For instance, I believe we are the only major college for miles that still has a bonfire. Covering that event might make a nice little mid-football season story in itself.

That Mean Green defensive stand was big time football by any standard and the best I have ever seen by all odds.

If our first game against Houston didn't sell out neither will Homecoming although I expect a nice crowd. I agree, SMU will probably be our first sellout. ATRAIN, ATRAIN, ATRAIN.
