  1. Defense has been fine. Special teams put them in a terrible position for one of the touchdowns. Kidsy fumbled a punt at our 20 which led to a Rice touchdown.
  2. Lol wow. This is becoming a joke.
  3. Great game by Lance. One of his best. Nice ending to an otherwise terrible sports week.
  4. We have also never been out numbered by the opposing fans. I'm willing to bet that in all of SMU's sell outs, SMU fans have been the minority.
  5. It is the opposite. They are not crapping on us for selling out our allotment, instead they are using it as a rallying cry to get their students to show up so there are not more UNT students at the game than SMU students.
  6. I wonder what the aggregate amount of all the SMU student's trust funds equals?
  7. I'm not sure of the "different demographic" that you refer to. In any case: If you are talking about a "different demographic" of students then the law schools in Texas do a fine job with diversity. It is a misnomer that law school classes are filled with rich kids. Vast majority of law students rely on scholarships and loans to pay for law school, not daddy. UNT Law is not necessary to allow diverse students a chance of attending law school because cost will be covered with loans are preferably a scholarship which provides any student an opportunity to attend law school in Texas. If you are mean "different demographic" to represent targeting different branches of society for legal services, I can assure you that the Texas law schools are already doing this. Most law students are not going to be working for "evil corporations" and will be servicing local businesses or doing small family, personal, or criminal law. UNT Law is necessary to service the latter. If by "different demographic" you meant pro bono for low income, many top students at top schools see public interest law as a calling and flock to it in high numbers, again UNT Law is not necessary for this. I do not think a false elitist jealousy bubble has anything to do with a common sense and reality based view point that UNT Law is not necessary and will straddle its students with debts with little to know job prospects to pay off the debt.
  8. The short and only answer is yes. Too many law schools and too many students given the number of legal jobs that exist. UNT Law remains a terrible decision. Kram: I can assure you that UNT's law school is not bolstering UNT's general reputation among the Texas legal community. Quite the opposite.
  9. Very excited for this fiscally responsible game. Yay secure budgets!
  10. Actively keep up with: UNT - obviously UH - law school graduate Casually root for: Oregon and Oregon State (big fan of the state of Oregon). Dislike: Entire Big 12 and Big 10.
  11. I have been very outspoken about how UNT-Law would be a bad decision. I am disappointed to see that, so far, I was right.
  12. I stopped watching for a bit because I got pissed off. Hell of a comeback. Go Coogs n/
  13. Heaven forbid Tony gets on with a world class organization and receives mentorship from the best coach in the league and savvy veterans.
  14. I read that those were not rumors, but instead were actually happening.
  15. I graduated high school outside in south Texas in June and I lived (sorry my UNT90 just came out). I'm more concerned about the length of the ceremony since they will not be having multiple commencements. Seems like it may take a long time to gradate everyone at once.
  16. I doubt the Leach to UH rumor. It was started by a Houston sports anchor through his "sources." Lol ok.
  17. I'm personally hoping for Scott Frost (Oregon's OC).
  18. This had to be done. The team was stacked this year and they severely underachieved. Mismanaged the QBsituation that ended up with a highly touted and talented young QB riding the pine. Add in inexcusable losses to UTSA, Texas State and Tulane and this is what happened.
  19. Yeah the Pit always had solid attendance when I'm a student. I'm surprised attendance is not better given that the students support football more than they did when I was on campus. I guess, Benford?
  20. Very unreliable source. I don't believe that report at all - originated from a radio station in Nashville.
