Shane Buechele didn't turn the ball over one time the entire fall camp, Dykes said of his starting quarterback. The transfer in his first season quickly won over teammates, even though he didn't even compete in spring ball. In fact, he actually came up from Austin several times after taking classes to watch practice and talk with future teammates. Recently, Buechele was elected captain -- the only non-senior to get the honor.

If Fine is indeed a Heisman candidate then Reeder will try to ramp up his stats and that means he’s never coming out of the game and that includes ACU. USU game showed what kind of problems not getting your backup snaps can cause. What to do?
