  1. Good news. UNT has a very broad coaching footprint in Texas these days.
  2. We crossed the bridge where we analyzed football recruiting for Conference USA. It's time to now take a gander at 2020 recruiting for Conference USA. At this juncture most guys have signed with a school, but there are stragglers who have committed but not yet signed. Rivals has ranked 13 Conference USA teams in the system. 1. North Texas: 5 signees/committed. Five 3-stars 3-star guard Rubin Jones (signed) 3-star forward Terence Lewis (verbal) 3-star center Abou Ousmane (verbal) 3-star guard Mardrez McBride (verbal) 3-star forward Mykell Robinson (verbal) Read more: https://middletennessee.rivals.com/news/basketball-recruiting-for-conference-usa
  3. The budget for Dodge was laughable by I-A standards. Mac's budget was a huge step up and he also got C-USA and Apogee to sell.
  4. Well they landed a national championship in basketball about 100 years ago but otherwise I do get your point.
  5. They seem to think they will be fine in recruiting according to Gene.

  7. That seems more than fair. Finny thing is a lot could be done just in the athletic departments.
  8. Has anyone noticed that Ryan is all over CUSA sight and official sponsor of the conference?

  11. Maybe we could invite SDSU to CUSA?
  12. Big loss. She was really the first woman after Billie Jean King to make a major mark on behalf of women in sports and broadcasting.
  13. SAN ANTONIO — UTSA announced Friday that it will play a pair of future nonconference football games against Army West Point. The Roadrunners will travel to West Point, N.Y., for the first time in program history to face the Black Knights on Sept. 10, 2022, at Michie Stadium. In 2023, UTSA will host Army, an FBS Independent, for the second time on Sept. 16 at the Alamodome. The two teams first met on Sept. 14, 2019, in San Antonio. The Sept. 10, 2022 road date with the Black Knights gives UTSA four nonconference contests that season. The Roadrunners will host Houston on Sept. 3 and they will welcome Texas Southern to the Alamodome on Sept. 24 one week after traveling to Austin to play Texas. 14. Gilmore preserved his redshirt after appearing in only one game for the Wildcats last season. It was Gilmore who handed the ball to running back Tyler Markray for a 45-yard touchdown that broke UK’s single-game rushing record in its 50-7 win over Tennessee Martin. Tommy Mainord, UK’s wide receivers coach during Mark Stoops’ first three years in charge, is the associate head coach and co-offensive coordinator at North Texas. Alexandria native Luke Walerius, a former graduate and recruiting assistant under Stoops in 2016 and 2017, is chief of staff for the Mean Green. Former Frederick Douglass High School star Dayton LeBlanc is a sophomore defensive lineman at North Texas. read more: https://www.kentucky.com/sports/college/kentucky-sports/uk-football/article242730171.html Read more here: https://www.kentucky.com/sports/college/kentucky-sports/uk-football/article242730171.html#storylink=cpy Read more here: https://www.kentucky.com/sports/college/kentucky-sports/uk-football/article242730171.html#storylink=cpy
