  1. This was a great listen. Phil seems like such a good guy.
  2. He should be able to recruit DFW, East Texas, and Central Texas well. I'm interested to see what kind of talent he recruits.
  3. I love this hire. His brother Jerry was the athletic director at our school. Phil is an awesome DC. Jerry is retired now, but I hope to run into him at games this year.
  4. Based on the players transferring, I am pretty sure this is the case. Not bashing them, just calling it based off some of their performances. Hopefully they are all alumni now and have their degrees.

  6. I sat by the family during the SMU game. They were very nice people. I even said "thats a bullsh** call" on one play and she was laughing. I am excited to see him play here. It helps that he had an awesome qb coach.

  10. I bet Chad is waiting for an OC or QB coach job to open up at a P5. I can't imagine him coming here. Chandler on the other hand, I have no clue. He had 15 offers out of HS. The lowest rated schools were us, Colorado St, SMU, and Kansas. The others were all big P5 schools. His sister is here in the recruiting dept, so there's that.
