  1. Would be nice of the FWST to list the player's size.
  2. Thanks. Was thinking high school commits and forgot about Mr. Pahinui.
  3. Am I missing one OL commit? I only count Weatherspoon, Newman and Mose.
  4. 247 needs to dump their "roster outlook" feature. Rarely, if ever accurate.
  5. Great idea. By the way, high fiving @emmitt01 or @FirefightnRick after all of our TD's will still only count as one. Thank you to all our service men and women and all our first responders for all you do every day.
  6. Please no green on green.
  7. Was that a custom made top, or are they available for purchase?
  8. Start the chant as the team comes down the tunnel. Let them enter the field hearing that chant!
  9. For some reason I thought of Evan Cardwell, DT from the Sun Belt glory days. As a senior he was 6'3" and 290 lbs. Does anyone remember how big he was coming out of Hutto High?
  10. I agree. We also need DL's and WR's and general playmakers. It will be interesting to see the make up of this class.
  11. I didn't like "losing" the OL to UTSA, but this may have been why. I would rate Mose as the better prospect.
  12. Has been for quite some time. I am beginning to wonder if he was waiting to see if some P5 offers would come his way and now our offer is gone. It appears we have filled out our future C and G's based on the size of the current commits.
  13. Oops. Well, flip him. Would love to get in to Lufkin.
  14. Not a fan of the all green look.
  15. This is an older article, June 7th, on 247sports.com, but still lists some players I would love to see us pursue. The one's that stood out to me that are still not comitted: Treston Price, DT from Lancaster Dhailon Phillips, WR from Lufkin Seth Scott, OL from Skyline Tre Siggers, ATH from Duncanville Gjemar Daniels, DT from Kennedale Octavius Evans, WR from Center I only listed those that have not committed. I would love to see us try to flip a few, especially some that committed to Houston that now may be questioning their decisions since Herman left.
  16. Love his "International House of Pancakes" video on Hudl. Newman, Weatherspoon and now Mose make up a great HS class of OL's.
  17. Good pick up. Just proves with every committment, there will be detractors and those that are pleased. I'll take an All-State OL from Trinity, the OL Factory, any day.
  18. Knowing him personally, how much weight could his frame comfortably hold without being a detriment to his movement and speed? Also, does he project as a DE or a DT?
  19. The bolded is what I completely agree with in the above post. This does not state that we should be complacent or accept where we are, but states that we need to improve, be the best we can while in CUSA and look at our options when they arise. There isn't much else we can do.
  20. I never intended to have this young man's thread shut down, so I would like to start it back up for those interested in his recruitment. http://www.hudl.com/profile/5593339/zack-semrak Unanimous All District DT http://www.wfaa.com/sports/2016-5-6a-all-district-selections/355003348 I hope our coaches take a look as it appears his only current offers are with A&M Commerce and Northeastern State although it is reported that Kansas State has been in contact. Outside of that, I can't find much information on his recruiting. He has already been accepted to UNT.
