What standards? Look, I asked an honest question on your thread for the young man from SLC. Sorry I hurt your feelings or touched a nerve. It was an honest question. Kids at SLC don't get overlooked because coach's are through there all the time. Sure, these coaches might have waited to see how his senior year played out before offering, but it does not change the fact that at this moment he has some FCS offers and written correspondence with K-State. No matter what you may think, I hope the young man has 10 offers this time next week. Hell, I wish every kid got an offer from his favorite school and provided to play ball and get an education paid for. Let it go and move on.

Just can't help yourself, can you? These kids out here have options, but the schools in the state that are recruiting will probably wait on a sure thing as opposed to taking a flyer and driving all the way out here. You can drive 5 hours west of Denton and see one or two good kids, or drive 5 miles north, east or south and see a lot of good ball players. Have to make the best use of your time and resources, Midland High has a very good QB that is probably under recruited as well.

Get over it. I haven't responded to a number of your posts lately, and this one was far from highly critical. In fact, I commended you for "going to bat" for a family friend, but I also asked an honest question. Let go of the grudge.

I received a letter from UT baseball, which I would consider contact, prior to my senior year of high school baseball. It never led to an offer, visit or anything. I was asking an honest question. Outside of two Big XII schools, there isn't a team on his list that we shouldn't be able to beat out.

Is anybody recruiting this young man? Outside of Hudl, none of the recruiting sites have anything on him. I applaud you for your diligence in wanting to help a family friend, but maybe there is a reason only low level FCS's are sniffing around.

Thank you to the following seniors for their efforts and contributions to North Texas football the past 4 to 5 years, 2-3 for the JUCO's, and 1 or 2 for transfers. Malik Dilonga, Jareid Combs, Jarrian Roberts, Demonte Hood, Thaddeous Thompson, Trey Kennan, Alec Morris, John Schilleci, Fred Scott, Chad Davis, Eric Keena, Courtney Finney, Trey Enterline, Connor Davis, Garrett Gunter, James Gray, Sam Rice and Kenny Buyers. I hated not being at the last home game, one I feel should be sold out every year in honor of the seniors. It bothers me when the stands are empty while these young men are honored. Watching the last episode of BTG, you realize what this means to these young men and I wish our fans, students, alumni, etc... made a greater effort to be there to honor them.

I wonder how accurate that is considering it was "tweeted" on 12/21/2015 and 247 doesn't show him as committed anywhere.
